+ Local gem, off-the-beaten-path, + delicious coffee and homemade pastries This local hang out is located off-the-beaten-path on Miranda Road at the shore between Half Moon Bay and Pillar Point. The Ebb Tide is only open during weekends and barely a tourist gets lost here. You can enjoy a book on the small oceanfront patio or inside if the fog pulls in. The interior comes in a charming 70’s Northern Californian beach town atmosphere and the lovely host is fun to chat with. Don’t miss on the homemade pastries, sandwiches, and if available soup of the day. All the stuff is incredible tasteful and perfectly accompanies the delicious organic coffee. BTW - the non-profit Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society that shares the place with the Ebb Tide features live jazz and classical music concerts. + Oceanfront view + Cozy 70’s atmosphere + Lovely host + Great coffee, pastries, and snacks + Local hide away

The epitome of the "beach cafe." Super laid back, little coffee shop, with good drinks from a very friendly owner. Theyre not always open (seems to depend on the weather, and the influx of visitors), and Im fairly certain its cash only. Grab a cup, and go take a stroll on the beach!

Ebb Tide may just be the best coffee shop location on the planet. On rainy days you can read a book from the library with a hot bowl of soup or sunny days sit out on the deck and then take a long walk on the beach.
