More and more people have been talking about this stylish little cafe becoming their favorite and quite possibly one of the best restaurants this side of the Puget Sound. Agate Pass Cafe are passionate about what they do and they do it without any fanfare... Attracting food lovers of all kinds who really enjoy sophisticated flavors that are not complicated yet very comforting. Simple, pleasing and heartwarming. Serving local food, produce and wine, you wont need to spend a small fortune to enjoy. Youve got to visit the best-kept secret ever... Dont leave Bainbridge Island without taking short drive across the bridge to Suquamish for a sensational experience and remarkable dinner and dessert at Agate Pass Cafe in Suquamish, WA.

My fiance and I went here on 2/13/16. It was one of the best meals weve had in a long time! We arrived right at 5 which is when they were opening the doors. It was a good thing we got there when we did because within 10 min the place was full. The staff was attentive and everyone was coming around, even the owner who was filling our water and asking how the meal was. We started with the clams which had a great spice to them. She had the pasta and i had the NY steak with the blue cheese butter and goodness gracious. perfectly cooked and tender. we ended the meal with a great little pear and berry crumble. we will be back and will recommend the place to anyone. Maybe the best hidden gem on the whole peninsula.

I like my food, and I am fussy. This was hands down one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Better than Greens (SF), better than Ettas (Seattle), better than Chez Panisse (Oakland). Seriously it was great. The service was laid back and casual, it got the job done and done in a timely way, but with no pretense or fluttering. If I recall correctly our waiter was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. If they have the crab gazpacho I highly recommend it. I got a second one to go so I could have it for breakfast.

The food here is pretty good. It isnt ground breaking by any means and at times is not seasonal which these days is a culinary sin at better restaurants. Ultimately, the food is good, but my main issue is the speed of service. This is truly one of the slowest restaurants around. Not in the "slow food movement" way, but in the slow service way. My wife and I have been here a half dozen times and each time dinner takes three hours or more. Weve just stopped going because the food isnt worth the wait.

One time diner; the special was awful. Expensive. If you cannot say anything nice; dont say anything at all. PASS. If they answer my letter about it, I will change this! *they did not refund my monet and made excuses for the poor food. They gave me a coupon? im from HAWAII and was just passing through. Jeez. It was the worst food in a fancy priced place Id EVER had-and i travel. Cannot believe all these 5 star reviews!

Phenomenal. Dont miss the specials on the board. Last time I was there it was a thick cut pork chop that stole my heart. The service is friendly but not intrusive, and the intimate, cozy atmosphere makes me feel at home at the table or the bar. Cant wait for summer when we can sit on the porch with one of the hand crafted cocktails.

Great restaurant serving local Northwest fare. Food can be pricey, but for special occasions I think it is worth it. The restaurant is small and only takes reservations for large groups. But I have never had to wait more than fifteen minutes for a table. The food is better than the service. They also have a lovely brunch!

Enthusiast said it well when describing the food. Need to add that you actually have to leave Bainbridge Island to find it and the view is fabulous. Have eaten here numerous times and found the experience and food very satisfying.

AMAZING FOOD!!!! Always seasonal, literally the best food I have ever had! It is expensive but well worth it if you want to have a romantic dinner for two with amazing food and a sweet small restaurant setting.

There is just no better place to eat on this side on the water. It rivals any meal you could get at the highest rated places in Seattle. A must eat!

Great food, but it was too busy for the two staffers. We had to wait much too long to pay our bill
