Ambiance: Very, very nice. The look of the exterior of the building is already really nice, and when I first glanced at it, I thought of a high-end steakhouse or something. The interior is very modern and hip - quite like a lot of other places that seem to attract teenagers and people in their 20s. Brick walls, nice tables and chairs, candles on the shelf, nicely lit sign, outdoor patio seating, high chair seating ... I can tell that a lot of thought and money went into designing this place. Food: I came here during their soft opening, so Im not sure if the dishes are set in stone or subject to changing. The ramen burger looked really enticing (and pricey), but my boyfriend and I decided to just order the spam musubi. The order was $4.25 for two pieces - so pretty much around $2.00 for each. I think it was a little pricey for what I ate because while I liked the flavor of the rice and spam and the seaweed (especially what was sprinkled on the sides of the musubi), the flavor wasnt that great. Drinks: I really wanted to order a popular drink, so I chose the potted plant milk tea with boba. My boyfriend ordered an iced green tea sea salt latte. Apparently in Chinese, the drink description said it came with a layer of milk cream at the top, which I would not have known since I dont read Chinese. We wanted to compare it to Tbays milk cream tea - I personally thought the latte was too salty. There was a lot of sea salt that made the cream not as tasty as I would have liked, and there wasnt enough green tea flavor. For my potted plant milk tea - I actually had tried it before when my sister brought it home from Macchiato. She said it was too sweet, and I definitely agree after drinking it for myself at The Bleu House. The cream and oreo cookie crumble at the top - very sweet by itself, but it tasted better when mixed with the tea. However, it was still too sweet, and I usually dont mind sweet! The boba was cooked very well ... I really liked the texture and chewiness of the boba. Macarons: The Bleu Houses redeeming feature for me was the selection and price of the macarons. It was $1.75 each or 6 for $9.50 - great price! And the macarons are definitely quality macarons. I would say they are my third favorite coming in behind Bottega and Lette. Good flavor, great texture, wonderful flavor! I tried the rose, royal, salted caramel, vanilla, red velvet, and almond. My least favorite was the almond (havent found one that can rival Lettes yet!), but I liked the rest a lot. Royal tasted like a royal milk tea, and the red velvet wasnt too sweet. The rose and salted caramel were my favorites - loved the texture in the middle and the shell. And they came in a little cute box! Im glad to know they have these at Macchiato, too so I dont have to drive too far to get some when I have a craving! Service: For the soft opening, there was a 10% discount if you checked into Yelp. They didnt advertise this, so I had to ask them if this discount was still valid. The workers are all very nice, but they seem a little confused and nervous, which is understandable. We had asked them a few questions upon ordering and upon receiving the check, and the answers they gave us didnt answer the question we had asked at all. tl;dr - Overall, I would say this would be a nice place to sit with a friend and catch up. The small plates and entrees seem very intriguing and the prices can be justifiable depending on what you order. I probably will avoid the potted plant and just order a more common drink (or the icy)! And definitely try the macarons!

I have to say, this place was really cute in terms of the food thats presented here. 2 reasons I came, to have my usual meetup with my high school friends and that my brothers wife is related to the owner. (Note: No bias here, there were no discounts given) When here, I have to say the menu is what I call ¨Asian Eclectic.¨ Its got all the Asian food truck favorites like Spam Musubi, Pork belly buns, Chili Fries with Egg on top (Ok, that last one doesnt sound Asian but it was quite good for sharing. We didnt know what to order as we normally just drink when we get together. Unfortunately, I goofed and this place serves no alcohol. I got the potted plant milk tea (Around $4) and it was pretty on the presentation with the crumbled oreos as the soil. I got to try my friends mojito and that wasnt bad either. As for the food, we told the waitress to order for us. She was great and did picked out great dishes like the Pork Belly Buns, The crispy rice spicy tuna, and yes the fries with the runny egg on top. Food portions here are great for sharing if you have two people. Sharing with 3 is questionable. I do think the prices are a bit higher here than the norm. They dont take Amex here. There is a seat in a corner next to an outlet if you are here to do work. Most of the customers we noticed are girls so yes, this is one of those cute or Kawaii places that they call it. But for above average taste with above average price, it gets 4 stars.

I just had a horrible experience with them. I placed an online order and had them call me 3 times before I finally realized it. They called me to tell me they didnt have what I have ordered available. Then she gave me another option, I agreed. 2 minutes later I get ANOTHER call stating they dont have that plate either I need to choose again. At this point I had her cancel my order. NEVER BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN!

I went in late not knowing what kinda place this was. Pictures made it look good. Food was an interesting blend between American and Asian food. Very very good. The prices were also very reasonable. So many drink choices and the chicks dig the little art work on them. I will come back here if given the chance and I live 2 hours away.

Stopped in here for a late dinner. The drinks were really good and we really enjoyed the chili cheese fries. We would come back and we recommend the chili cheese fries. The pork belly bao tacos were yummy too. The only thing I didnt care for was the ramen kimchi burger. The ramen buns were just a little too gummy for me.

Service is good and attentive even if u sit in the patio. The servers come out often to make sure you dont need anything. I like their hot teas and they are refillable. Popcorn chicken and spam masubi are not bad either. Nice place to hangout with friends.

I miss Mr. Swiss. This place is expensive and the drinks are whatever. The food even more whatever. At least they didnt care that we parked in the corner to work for a few hours during the mid-afternoon lull.

Not a bad place, just not into these kind of cafe. The chipotle chicken tenders were misleading, they just taste like chicken tenders with sweet sour sauce thrown on it.

Great drinks, tried the ramen burger and that wasnt bad either. Service was decent, but it took them forever to cook the food. Nice ambiance inside, though it gets loud.
