The reviews for Nano have always seemed to be very positive, and seeing as how they had Eggs Benedict on their menus - I thought Id take my parents to try out their dishes. Unfortunately, this was the first time my dad had Eggs Benedict, and he left with a very bad overall impression of the popular breakfast dish. Nano Café seems to be a house turned café - there are lots of tables in the front of the restaurant, but we were taken to the back - walked past the kitchen - where there were additional tables. Some waitresses seemed very friendly, but our waitress seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. But, no matter since we were here for the food, not the service. My dad wanted to try the Eggs Benedict and I decided to try the Eggs Florentine. That was mistake number 1 and 2. I should not have ordered the Eggs Florentine, especially after my dad had decided to go for the Eggs Benedict! When both dishes came out, they looked quite similar. The only difference is that my dish has turkey and spinach while my dads has ham. What completes an Eggs Benedict dish is the Hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was sour - like it was going bad! My dad asked me if this was what Hollandaise sauce is supposed to taste like. No, its not! The turkey was dry, and the spinach mixed with the overall sauce just made the overall dish taste bad. I only finished half of my dish. And there wasnt anybody to finish the other half. My dads dish tasted no better than mine. In fact, his dish had the sauce directly on the eggs and the muffin. Mine had the sauce on the dish - I guess they missed the muffin. We left with a bad experience of Eggs Benedict. My sister ordered waffles with eggs and bacon, a much safer and better tasting dish. The waffle tasted as expected. Not too sweet, but with butter and syrup, was good. Both of the Eggs Benedict dishes came with hash browns, which were crispy and tasty. Nano Café is definitely a brunch place that people should try, but I would not recommend the Eggs Benedict or Florentine. Their fried chicken and waffles or French toast looked much more popular! We also ordered orange juice, which was very pricey. Lots of parking in their lot.

This place can give IHOP a run for its money. Its perfect for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It gets pretty crowded and noisy inside, so if you can manage it, get a seat outside on the patio. Its great, provided you dont mind all the cars driving by. I saw a boatload of delicious-sounding things on the menu, such as BBQ Chicken Salad, French Dip Sandwich, Truffle Parmesan Garlic Fries, Vegetarian Dishes, House Specialties like the Monte Cristo, Chicken & Waffles, and dont get me started on the desserts. I, however, am a sweets lover, and had heard about these famous Cinnamon Bun French Toast which Id been craving for a while. They did not disappoint. I swear, I may never see IHOP with the same respect ever again. And theyre coffee is the perfect pairing to go with such an indulgent breakfast. If youve never been here, you have to make it a point to stop by for breakfast/brunch the next free day you have. Better hurry, though. They close at 3:00PM on Sundays.

Driving up to this IHop look alike mom and pop shop - i had to double check on yelp to make sure it did say "4 Stars" with over 100 reviews, because from the outside looking in it didnt look super good.. well kids, dont judge a book by its cover because this place was deelllicous! The chinese ladies working here gave this place a more personable feel- everyone that came in seemed to know them personally and must be regulars ! I was attracted to this place because of the eggs benedict- and we all know Ihop doesnt have no eggs benedict, already right there i have to retract my statement about it looking like IHop eeek! anyways i enjoyed everything on meal including my fresh squeeze orange juice i finished every single thing u in a jiffy! My friend ordered the tuna salad and didnt expect his dish to look so ginormous - so their def. generous on portions!

The coolest thing about this cafe is its homely ambiance. Much of it resembles a decades old house. Because we had a party of about 10, they had us sit in a private back room of the restaurant next to the patio. Dog friendly too! We were allowed to keep the dog in the patio area where she was safe. Most of us got the Eggs Benedict and I was satisfied with the taste and the price they charged for it. The waitress that served us was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Thats the way it should be for these smaller types of cafes. The parking lot is a bit on the small side, but there is a decent amount of street parking available. Ill definitely be back. Why go to IHOP when you can come here?!

This is a very popular spot out in Monrovia for the breakfast/brunch/lunch crowd. Luckily we were meeting friends who already snagged a table so the wait was nil. The service was prompted and both the staff and other patrons were very friendly. The menu is huge so I imagine it could be overwhelming. The cinnamon roll french toast sounds overly decadent, but surprisingly it is not. I would recommend it if you are looking for a unique breakfast option. My wife got a turkey sandwich that she said was good. We were satisfied with our meal. If you are out in the San Gabriel Valley looking for a place to get brunch check this place out

Nice mom and pop feel. Didnt realize how popular they were just stumbled upon this spot and we were in love. The waitress was accomodating. The seating is pretty small but the food was amazing. I got the cinnamon French toast breakfast and those things were not too sweet so you can adjust the sweetness with syrup. The biscuits and gravy here was good as well. The seating is wide so everyone whose eating can see everyone. Be friendly and enjoy your meal :) its worth it. They got their own parking lot as well

My most favorite breakfast spot in the 626 area. Its hard to find good breakfast around here unless youre looking for dim sum so to have Nano just a few minutes away from me is a blessing. I highly highly recommend this place for your eggs and bacon needs. The servers are these adorable corky women who are so friendly and welcoming. Defiantly a place with a lot of regulars. Which is the kind of place I love to eat at. Food that keeps them coming back for more!

We were seated pretty quickly on a Saturday but the waitress took a while to take our order. The Coke we ordered tasted like bleach therefore we had it switched to a Sprite. It contained the same bleach taste. When we asked for a return, she wasnt happy and asked many questions. My cinnamon French toasts was hard and cold. I ordered a side of home fries and it was also cold. I was not happy and will never return.

Country style breakfast, worst ive ever had. Specially the biscuits and gravy. Had like an old hot dog flavor or something going bad? Im not sure but for me and my son they charged $30. 3.50 for 11oz cup, $7 for pancakes. Prices are too high for the quality of food being served. Definitely would have to steer clear of this place and keep going to leroys or actually any other place, no exaggerations either.
