We stoped there on our way to Yosemite in middle of June and where positively surprised. The atmosphere were cozy and it filled like home. The place has toys and books for kids so we were able to get some quiet time while kids were busy with a new toys. The place has a separate room with amazing Yosemite pictures for sale and variety price range. The service was nice and coffee was really good. In the outdoor they has enormous types of plants which I guess they are selling. Anyway, it just creates feeling in a park

My favorite place on the planet. My visits to Groveland are not complete without a visit to Mountain Sage. The owners and those who work there are friendly and passionate about hospitality. The garden is peaceful. My grandkids love the tree house, outdoor stage, hooks hoops and plenty of space to run. The beverages and tasty treats make it a delightful place at an outside table or inside by the fire. And there is the field of daffodils in the spring. Nuf said!

Cozy and polite. One of the batistas does not care much for working. Got a couple of drinks and one was just above room temp and the tea latte was steeped for a matter of seconds. Then she immediately sat and watched a show. She did this to us on two separate occasions. Any visit with other batistas has been awesome.

We love hanging out by the fire in the cozy living room inside Mountain Sage and having a great coffee. This place is inside of an old converted home and it has that great cozy feel of weathered wood, cold weather, and the outdoors. Very nice gardens in the back where plants are also available for sale.

The food, drinks, atmosphere and service are always 5 stars at Mountain Sage. Local, homemade kinda place so dont be in a rush when you stop by. Hang around and browse the photo gallery/handmade goods, stroll around the nursery, or hang in the hammock garden. I cant recommend this place enough!

Awesome place to grab an espresso on the way to Yosemite -- great coffee, great people, great atmosphere. If only the hours were slightly more generous (Daily 8am-4pm, closed Wednesday) Id swing by on the way back as well :-)

One of the nicest places Ive had a cup of coffee ever... And Ive been to some pretty nice places. The morning sun shining in, the fresh mountain air and the coffee itself... Heaven. A must for anyone going to Yosemite.
