My husband and I live in Colorado but were planning our wedding in California since our families are there. Unfortunately, we had to change our wedding date and venue at the very last minute! With only six weeks before the new wedding date, I called and talked to Liz about possibly making our cake for our July 2nd wedding. She said she was available to make our cake and we started talking options and pricing. Liz initially quoted me for a three-tiered cake. When I explained that we were trying to keep the price as low as possible and asked if she had any suggestions, she didnt hesitate to tell me that we could opt for a small two-tiered cake that we could cut into and the then also serve cupcakes. (Two other bakeries refused to give me quotes on more cost effective options unless I knew exactly what I wanted.) My husband and I chose to go with the two-tierd cake and cupcakes. Not only did this save us a significant amount, but we also were able to choose more flavors of cake this way! We chose vanilla cake with buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate chips, red velvet cake with a cream cheese icing filing, and vanilla cake with lemon curd filling. They were all absolutely amazing!!! Liz had everything dropped off and set up beautifully before our ceremony got started. The cupcakes were gorgeous and the decoration on our small cake was fabulous!!! Exactly what we wanted!!! Id hire her again and recommend her to all of our friends and family.

Wow, I couldn’t believe what I have run into. I heard this talk of this inspiring artist turned pastry chef. I was speaking to a friend of mine and found out this Chef went to a premier school in Napa Valley. After visiting with Liz at her shop and seeing some of the pictures of things she has done, I knew this would be perfect. She was so nice and caring of what I was looking for, she grabbed her paper and doodled some ideas. Talk about Artistry skill. Well we agreed upon a design and when I went to pick it up I couldn’t believe what she had done. It was like the drawing came to 3-D life. Well I got it home in one piece and we had the party and my Son was solo excited to see his cake. Liz is so awesome on her design, work, flavor, and taste. The skill she puts into her cakes and desserts, the care and time to make sure it is right, and the fresh ingredients she uses to bring her creations to life. When in Fresno, Go by and talk with her and place your order. You wont regret it! Hmm I wonder if she ships to other locations? Look out Ace of Cakes.... Here comes the Duchess of Desserts!
