Open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday, but super understaffed with only 1-2 waitstaff for the entire restaurant, so it took a long time. Felt like dessert and wanted to get a waffles a la mode, but none found, which was surprising. Belgian waffles were ungodly expensive as an a la carte item, at $6.99, so their 7 for $7 menu that included a chicken n waffles dish was a great value, and I asked for my waffles on the side. I ordered ice cream so I could make it myself, but their measly 1 scoop at $1.99 made it a terrible value, plus they only had vanilla and no other favors. I may just have to work harder to find a late night joint with waffles a la mode. Their specials menu had a page to try out new types of pancakes, and I found that the red velvet pancakes plus the combo that came with 2 eggs, hash browns, and bacon was a great value at $5.99.

One of a kind Ihop. Never have I gone in a breakfast restaurant let alone a giant like ihop, and I couldnt substitute meat for hashbrowns or meat for toast. The server actually broke down the cost saying the meat cost less than the toast or that the hashbrowns cost more than the meat. Lol. The whole meaning to build my own breakfast is i can cater what i want. Run by very poor owner(s) perhaps!

I didnt even make it past the front door. Finally on the second call someone decided to answer the phone. During our call she was too busy chatting with her friends to answer my inquiries and eventually hung up. I called back 3 more times and no answer. Terrible customer service.

Pretty typical IHOP. It is usually quiet and not too crowded. They used to have a kids eat free promotion which we really enjoyed. My toddlers loves the food. The promo ended so we havent been going as much. Bring back kids eat free!

I go here instead of Dennys in San Mateo because Dennys is always busy and under-staffed. This place is great though, even when they get busy, the wait is never as bad as Dennys. The servers are always pleasant and the food is good.

Came here for a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes. Also had the coffee. My order came out fast. Today is Natl. Pancake Day and the restaurant was busy but they took care of me :-)

It does have good food. But I do agree with the other reviews. Their are few people on staff and they do not seem that social. Advice: they should try to get to know their customers.

Sausage was served cold. Ham tasted like it was cooked in a pan that wasnt cleaned after making something spicy. Pancakes were OK. Overall, this breakfast made me feel sad.
