Saturday April 25: My experience at the Fat Rabbit publik house was very good. I particularly enjoyed ordering at the bar, and having my dinner delivered to our table. The waiter was good and friendly as well. As for the food - I had the Bangers and Mash, and I can tell you that while the food was rich and plentiful I did something I rarely do, which was completely finish every bit of food served to me - even though I was stuffed. The Bangers were the best Ive ever had, anywhere & the mash and gravy complimented them very well. The food, the decor, the booths and seating, and the staff made it seem as if were in a pub in Dublin, in a good way. I enjoyed the experience very much, and so did the other couple we were with! Well be back, as a famous person once said (or something like it).

Upon entering the pub there is a small sign written in chalk requesting you seat yourself (no problem) and then go to the bar to place your order so we grabbed our menus then sat down. The ambiance was good but when it came placing our order, the bartender was unpleasant and rude. The food..... like out of a frozen bag. We had the perogis and Schnitzel - the perogis seemed like they had been boiled in a pot then slapped on a plate, camouflaged with sauteed onions, that was it. The schnitzel was thinly sliced and over cooked resting atop a mound of mashed potatoes and gravy which both had the taste of freezer burn/plastic bag. The experience left my wife and I feeling queasy and bloated. Disappointing.

Its rare that I have absolutely nothing bad to say about an order of fish and chips, because theres so much that can go wrong. But this order of fish and chips was nearly perfect. Fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Order the fries extra crispy and you will be shocked and amazed. Unlike so many places they just drop already cooked fries into some oil, this place really seems to have perfected the extra crispy fries. Here you order at the bar and take a number. They bring it to your table.

A unique setting with a variety of seating options, however dont anticipate much service. I dont mind ordering at the bar, but itd be nice if the waiter/bus boy could clear plates and drinks periodically. We had a larger group that was pretty large, but when I asked the waiter to bring us some waters, he said we must go up to the bar to get waters ourselves. Id still recommend trying this out with some friends, but I probably wont frequent this place.

This is the best place to get fish and chips in Folsom! The pretzels arent bad either... The beer is mostly international beer, and they have cocktails as well. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The only downside is that it is counter service and the bar gets pretty crowded at times. Sometimes hard to place your for orders, but once they are in, everything is great!

Okay, so first of all, prepare to seat yourselves and request menus and order food at the bar. Its not a big deal. Its actually nice to feel so casual. But theres not a lot of signage to let you know. The perogies were great but everything else was just okay. The ambience really makes you feel like your in a London pub!

I love the authentic European pub feel. One orders at the bar, takes a number, and waits at any seat in the house for table delivery. Youll find classic pub fare here: fish and chips, banners and mash, etc. And the BEER! Dozens of European drafts, served in the makers glass. A definite must!

The Fat Rabbit is our favorite place to go relax away from family when come back home for the holidays. Its never too loud. There is good pub food, and great cocktails. Its a completely unpretentious comfortable old style pub reminiscent of our favorites in Edinburgh.

This place is unique for the area that its in. I think its a solid place to go for a beer. The food is pretty decent if you are okay with bar food. Its a little heavy for me but I still enjoyed it. We will sometimes travel from Roseville to go here.

Nice atmosphere that makes it feel like an old pub/tavern. Much better than going to a chain place for drinks. They have a good selection of beers on tap and have just about anything else youd want. They have TVs and dart boards for entertainment.

English pub decor is charming. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are good (my husband and I split the perogis and poutine fries). Good selection of beer on tap (any English style pub that has Old Speckled Hen on tap is good in my book).

This is our favorite place in Folsom! We love the local atmosphere and the food is always fantastic. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family. Were always happy to drive out of our way to come back regularly.

They have a lot of foreign (Irish, European, British) beers and a great food menu with items from those same regions. I have been to those regions and I do experience some nostalgia when I go to the The Fat Rabbit. They get it.

Good european beer selections and good service. Ive never seen it too crowded so its nice to be able to hang out and get beer when you need it without standing around waiting too long. The food is alright, typical bar food.

Interesting beer section (primarily British and European), with reasonable food options. Occasional live music. I like the more isolated booths and nooks, which allows talking in (somewhat) more quiet and private.

The food is very authentic pub food. My favorite is the updated and down fries which have sausage and chipotle mayo. Fish and chips is good too. Dont like that you have to order at the bar but that may be authentic

The drinks were good, and the food was solid. The ambiance was really nice, but the place was extremely over-crowded when I was there. It took a long time to get a seat, but food came fairly quickly after ordering.

I went for the Monday board game night hosted there. The food was great (I was recommended the up-and-down fries and was very happy with them). Drinks were great as well. Great atmosphere.

I had the Bulldog sandwich (bangor sausage served in a bun) and my wife had the chicken pot pie. All served in a traditional brit pub. Great beers on tap. IPAs were invented by the Brits.

Amazing First Impression. Went with a large group and didnt seem to be a loser on the menu. Very wide range to choose from. English, Irish, Polish, German... They had dishes from all.

I am completely in love with this bar! You feel like youve traveled back in time to 19th century london and that have such a vast selection of beer. I simply cannot get enough.

Good size portions and amazing bangers and beans. Friendly staff but it is sit yourself and order at the bar. Neat cozy booths. Reminds me of Irish Bank in San Francisco.

Where do I start, with the shoddy shaky booth, the third member of out party, the crane fly or maybe the absolute delicious gourmet frozen parogues. This place sucked!
