This is not a first time at Sweet Lady Jane. I absolutely love their croissants , one of the best , like in Paris. Salads, sandwiches and pastry - very good ! But every time I go there I absolutely shocked how poor the service is . I dont know if thats their " signature" service , I guess at least at this particular location. Even if you order something which is already behind the display and ready to go , it takes them up to 15 minutes to put everything in the box or paper back . There is no smile , even fake one, or eye contact either. Person who is making cakes and you can see her behind the glass, has a face if she would be not making cakes but some nuclear weapon . Whats wrong with you people????? It is a Place where everything is so Sweet and beautiful but your sour faces and rude attitude leaves a bitter taste even after the best croissants in the town .

The egg salad sandwich was fine but I would probably order it without a slice of tomato next time. The egg salad blend itself was quite tasty, incorporating perfectly sized chopped bits of celery, onion, and other seasonings. Their creations are like masterpiece art creations. I have yet to try any of the beautiful sweet treats here but will definitely update my review afterwards. This place hits all the marks otherwise. Great decor, good music (60s?), friendly staff, and reasonably prompt service. Its probably a little pricey for my lunch budget but definitely an option when I feel like splurging. Id love to try their breakfast options if I can make it out early enough in the morning. I also love the glass cage that allows customers to view chefs creating cakes.

This is our token Treat Spot. I really look forward to coming here every so often, ogling the beautiful cakes in the display case, and toiling over what to get. The cake slices are GIGANTIC! Seriously, you could make one slice last for days. I love their special banana bread pudding and their old-fashioned chocolate cake--its on the denser side and is slathered in a thick ganache frosting. The pies are pretty hefty too. Theyve all been super good, but I shy away from berry pies because of the abundance of tiny and annoying seeds. I am slowly working my way through my Sweet Lady Jane bucket list.

I looooooove Sweet Lady Janes. I have been patronizing for some time now. Have ordered specialty cakes that have always been the hit of the party!! The Salted Carmel blrownies, berry and lemon bars are my absolute favorites. Dont get me started on the triple berry cake.Deeeeelish! The sandwiches and breakfast is yummy too.

My walnut brownie only tasted and smelled of almond extract. It was overpowering. The word "almond" was not in the description, I wanted a brownie, not an almond flavored anything. I could not even taste the walnuts. It made me sad. I love a good brownie. This looked like one, but tasted NOTHING like one.

Above expectations! We ordered wedding cake. Prior to order we have been provided with cake tasting which allowed us to pick the best flavor. Also, the cake presentation was tastefull and elegant, cake was ready on time to pick up. All our guests, inluding us, loved the cak!!! Great job!!!

What a great addition to Encino. Sweet Lady Jane has always been a favorite of mine, and now I dont need to go to the Westside to enjoy! Ive always enjoyed their famous desserts, but their lunch and breakfast is fantastic. Thanks you Sweet Lady Jane for moving in!
