Ive had several bowls of ramen at several different (well rated) places and always thought to myself, "This is good, but nothing special. Maybe I just dont like ramen." Such is not the case with the small bowl of soup I just wolfed down. I added corn, spinach, and an egg. Deep, rich, creamy flavor. And Level 2 spicy was darn good - though I would have called it a Level 3 kind of spice. Also, a pork bun (think of it as a Japanese taco, if youre unfamiliar) was very good. The bun didnt taste as if it was made to order, but other that and being a little messy, it was also lovely. Cant wait to come back.

The noodles (they only serve the one type in their bowls) actually where rather tough, bland, and with a musty after taste that made one wonder if the noodles had gone bad. The additions are ok, though it was ambiguous what they are for until they are brought out (they are intended for adding to the noodles while they are still boiling, piping hot as when first served up). The serving crew was about average, no special attention given, but not entirely lax either. For a high-end noodle joint that slightly off the beaten path, Koran Ramon offers little overall to the casual or business diner.

Ive been to quite a few ramen restaurants and I can say with certainty this place really hooks you up with the amount of noodles and broth they give you. The tonkotsu broth tastes really good. I especially love their two options of pork: chashu or fatty pork. Both are amazing. The soft boiled eggs were cooked perfectly. Excellent service inside. Dont forget to get a macaron ice cream on your way out! Good stuff.

Long wait! Awesome ramen & crispy rice! They forgot to give us our pork bun (this was just alright) so we had to ask for it after our meal was over. Random note, while we were outside waiting, eggs were flying off of the roof of the building...someone was throwing raw eggs at people and didnt even have the nards to show their face. Unacceptable. Luckily my group wasnt hit.

This location is not as big as the Burbank location but it has a nice decor. The only difference is that this location has a sushi bar where you can sit and order sushi. The parking has an odd setup. You enter from Ventura Blvd and go underground. On the right, you go up a ramp to get to the parking lot at the back of the building. The good thing is the parking is free.

If you keep your order to ramen the service is super fast and the quality is great. The broth is rather fatty but I love the richness and the flavor. If you order sushi Ive had mixed results in how long it takes but overall you come here for the ramen and this place is 5 starts for sure

Ramen and sushi. Miso ramen is great, chashu is pan fried. Nothing on the menu is unreasonably priced, and there usually arent a lot of customers. Parking is on the back, you have to go down and up to get there. Worth the trip.

Best ramen in LA, its made fairly authentically with pork broth, house made noodles, and quality pork and veggies. The sushi is also top tier, the shrimp tempura is crazy good. Great service and excellent quality food.

Delicious ramen. The fatty pork is actually soft and delicious. As you bite into the meat, it just melts in your mouth. Highly recommended for regular bowls. Dont get extra meat, they tend to be fried and dry.

Atmosphere is great, food is not authentic although its not bad and customer service is okay. I would really enjoy this place if their Ramen wasnt so thick and pasty. Definitely not authentic and very fatty.

My girlfriend and I frequent Kopan, and are very pleased with the atmosphere and friendliness. The ramen is awesome. Sushi and poke is fairly good, but the ramen is definitely what they excel in.

The food is good! The service, seriously folks get another sushi chef and a few extra waiters. Way too long for food and longer for the check.

Great ramen bowls and takoyaki. The 101 sushi roll was great too, but you really come here for the pork broth ramen.

Fantastic ramen! Doesnt come with an egg though, you have to order it on the side, which is a little weird.
