Our family comes here because we love Red Robin. The quality of food is usually pretty consistent. The service at this particular Red Robin is NOT usually consistent. Sometimes well get someone who is super energetic & on top of everything, but more often wed end up with the waitress/waiter who doesnt want to be there, or seems like they dont care, or is just plain overwhelmed (which I would understand if it was really busy, but sometimes its not). One visit, our waitress lost our order ticket and instead of coming to tell us & ask us what our order was again, she chose to ignore us until it was found an hour later. She went to her other tables to check on them around us, and avoided eye contact with us the whole time. The manager finally told us what happened and said hed waive our lemonades...yup, free lemonades to make up for an hour of not knowing what was happening & hungry kids! Luckily that was the worst of our experiences there. Weve also had a a server that brought us things before we even knew we needed it! Like, drink refills, napkins, etc. She was on top of everything! Its really a hit or miss with service. The food on the other hand, is what keeps us coming back! =)

Foods good, bar tenders are awesome! Really, they are the only reason I go back there. I dont even drink when Im there. The best service comes from them!! My 2 Star rating is because of the service from the rest of the establishment. I called the Elk Grove location to place an order for pick up and the phone rang over and over for 20-25 minutes. I only had another 25-30 minutes before they closed so I continued to call but drove to the restaurant. When I got there they were not busy, the hostess was sitting on the bench next to the podium where they seat you from. She was deep in her phone, didnt even acknowledge me. I walked to the counter where the restaurant phone was, Im still calling by the way, and sure as s##t! The phone was ringing and my number was on the caller id! I went to the bar to place my order there. The best part was while I was at the bar a cook/dishwasher, or employee from the back comes out drying his hands, picks up the restaurant phone, ends my call to place his own. Good burgers, good steak fries. I dont go there often. Incidents like this make it even less often though.

I came in and asked for a table for 4 was told about 20 mins which was fine I was waiting for my friends to come from Lodi so no bigge. My friends show up and i go ask for the wait time and was told about 20 mins. I then told them you said that 20 mins ago. now they start giving me excuses which really annoys me. well we all decided to sit at the bar top. Mind you we are super hungry. we take our order and It felt like we are forgotten. It took a long time to get our order and my order was not right but i was hungry and did not want to complain. paid and left. then I find out they over charged me which screwed things up. But on a good note I called and they are fixing it. I hate to say this but this Red Robins Customer service sucks!! I love Red Robin but these guys really dropped the soap. but The manager who i called about being over charged is fixing that issue so thank you by the way. Please fix the customer service I work hard for my money and would like to not feel forgotten and just be able to relax and enjoy a good meal without my order being all screwed up!

I just recently ate here for the first time and they were actually very good! Im a very picky hamburger eater and hate when restraunts act like your asking to much when you ask for a well done burger, however at red robins they ask you! The onion rings were big and delicious, the water didnt have that nasty tap taste and best of all was the end less steak fries! My only complaint is the relish, it completely threw off my taste buds and not in a good way. I love pickles however the relish seemed to be too strong (sour) and over took the flavor of my entire burger. I will definetly ask for no relish next time!

My Daughter-in-Law and I just brought my Grandchrildren to your restaurant on Laguna Blvd in Elk Grove, CA to celebrate her Birthday and the fact she passed her nurses board exams. Our wait person was Tim. I have to tell you that my son manages a restaurant in Yountville Ca owned by Thomas Keller. Tim would have given any one of my sons employees a run for their money. Terrible tried to have lunch with a two year old never offer a high chair or booster put us in a small booth where they was a dirty tray with ice on it on the ledge along with a glass. I order a wedge burger put in on table and walk off never ask if I needed anything. I ask for fork and steak sauce acting like I was asking for the impossible . Never came back to table to refill my glass or anything. Will not be returning and didnt earn a tip for sure felt like I was judge be in was seated. Red Robin yuck

Walked in for my moms birthday, waitress walks by several times without acknowledging us. No, "I will be right with you, hello, nothing." Approximately 6-8mins pass, group of 4 come in sit 2 booths from us. Another 5-7 mind pass by, she got right to their table and take their order. Making me feel it was a race thing. The other table was needless to say, Caucasian, Im African American. Furious a whole 15, almost 20 mins pass it decide to walk out.

Recent visit, 06/25/16, food fare, excellent!! First visit here in several years. Service was very slow, server forgot about us after we were seated. Another server came by and apologized and took over. After that point, it was fine. Atmosphere is LOUD. Ok, but be aware. $30.00 lunch. Included 2 burgers, water to drink and $5.00 tip. Pricey for lunch in most respects, however, awesome food. Average lunch price is $12.00 Would return.

My wife and I ate here today, 12/4/2012, and our server was Melissa M. She was quite personable, and she was very professional and attentive to our needs. My wife had the Fish Sandwich, and I had the Jim Beam Whiskey Burger. The food was great, and the service was BETTER! Do yourself a favor and eat at this restaurant. I know my wife and I will definitely be back.

A different take on the whole idea of a burger place. Large amount of seating which also includes a bar for those 21 or older. Service is great, the food is great (bottomless fries are awesome), and they do a decent job of keeping the environment clean. Great place for birthday parties, especially for kids and large groups.

This is one of my husbands favorite places to eat. I have a hard time finding something to eat because of my dietary needs. Usually, I can have soup and salad. Today, the soup was cold and the salad came without dressing. And my husbands shake was also lacking. Very disappointed in my husbands favorite place to eat.
