Formerly known as JJ Burgers, Time Out Burger, delivers a Old-fashioned comforting tasty American Hamburger and fries. Ive been dinning here since I was a baby over 30 years now and Im soo excited to know that it has been newly renovated, sad it didnt keep its original name but the food is always wonderfully delicious and for me it really takes me down memory lane. I love this place and since Ive moved up to the Bay Area its a 6 hour drive to Downey but whenever I have the chance I ALWAYS stop and have their hamburger special! I was just in last week!.3/15/17 Thanks for still being in business and always having friendly staff and cooks around!

Just stopped here because I was starving after a long day at the doctors and wow... The food was terrible. I honestly cant believe this place is even here. $5.50 for a "chefs salad" that was an iceberg lettuce mix with an overload of cheese, 3 packets of saltines (whyyyyy), a sliced over cooked egg, about 19 sandwich pickles, and various sizes of Roma tomatoes from tiny to huge.. if you cant even make a salad you shouldnt be in business.

They have big menus, not just traditional burgers and fries, but they also do omelets, breakfast food, sandwiches, teriyaki, fajitas, burritos, salads, etc. The food is very tasty and big portion for cheap price. The staff is very friendly too.

The staff is very friendly and efficient and the food was great. The restaurant itself is very clean and all the food was prepared with excellence. You can tell when people go the extra mile. Would definitely come back again!!

Been eating here alot lately as our daughter is in the hospital down the street. Everything is delicious, the service is great, and the staff are courteous and like to check on you to make sure everything is good.
