The first thing that attracted me to this bar is the name! My coworker and I decided to catch the Kings game here after work. Parking can be a hassle. Do not park in the structure near Portos....there is a 2hr limit only!! No exceptions! We made it in time for Happy Hour (Mon-Fri 3PM-7PM) $1 off beers and discounted food selections! What We Ordered: - Tri Tip Chili Cheese Fries - Loaded Steak Nachos - Sliders...the name escapes me but it had chicken, provolone cheese and marinara sauce! The Tri Trip Chili Cheese Fries were amazing!!!! It was a tad on the sweet side due to the bbq sauce but i still really liked it! The Loaded Steak Nachos were....not that great. The meat was good but I did not like their homemade cheese sauce. It was grainy. I would not get those again. The Chicken Sliders were also just okay. It was bland so we had to add ketchup to it. Our server was super helpful and attentive even if the place was super crowded due to the game! We were definitely happy customers! :) I will come back to try their burgers, wings, and quesadillas!

They ignored us for 15 minutes, after seating us. They forgot we were there. When the food arrived, i was disappointed over the portion size. I guess i wanted authentic real Bbq where the portions are massive, not gormet size. And that "Thing" they call a "sloppy Joe", is no Sloppy joe!

We initially were trying to go to Peking China but it was packed so we decided on Bastards. The food was like whatever and there was a funky smell in the restaurant. The only upside is that our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I wouldnt go back there again.

The Bastard is easily one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Its so simple, but everything works wonderfully and its just...so damned good. Sides are also great, as are the chicken wings. I would come back just for the burger though, good lord.

Walked in to bastards for the 1 time I live in Downey was completely ignored! Was looking forward to try Bastards but I guess not!!! Wow I guess business must be good for them. Went to bar Louie instead had a great time at Bar Louie.

Service was great! Jessica, our server, was very attentive and checked on us when needed. Would go back. Their fries are delicious! Their Chile Relleno burger, though not spicy, had an awesome flavor

I drive from North Hollywood to Downey (Bastards) every Sunday for Football. The services is incredibly good!! love the atmosphere and comfort of this place.. recommend for everyone!!
