first of all when we arrived at the restaurant, the reception was very bad, not to say frigid, we felt that the waitresses did not want to work ... the restaurant smells bad and its Dirty. Strange, the restaurant is empty! We were the only ones to eat in restaurants ... with my girlfriends we had several different dishes, it was not good by the way 2 of my girlfriends vomited afterwards. When we asked for the bill, we did not understand why the waitress had already added the tips on the bill. Asked for 20% tips for a very bad service. It cooled and spoiled our evening. I advise against any person to eat in restaurant, you will risk to regret it.f

I am an Chinese American here in town; this is the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever met in California. Neither the food nor the service are worthy for you to go there. The price is way higher than they deserve. Horrible place!!! I shall never go there again and they should feel shame to bring the Mainland Chinese rude culture to here. They are spoiled by Chinese students here. Too bad they dont have too much choices, I meant the Chinese students here!

With lackluster Chinese food competition in the Davis area, Ding How fares admirably. The regular menu is decent, borderline generic for some entrees, but for those vegetarians out there, this place has some amazing (and delicious) offerings. There is a *dedicated* vegetarian menu with soy-based dishes that are respectable mimics of the actual meat entrees. Try the vegetarian mongolian beef and youll see what I mean.

My favorite Chinese in town! Best of everything as long as you like vegetarian. We always call ahead of time and order for take out. Its always ready by the time we get there. Cant say a thing negative about this place, we love it and always go there for take out! It also has eat in, but we like to bring it home and eat while we watch a Redbox movie! Absolutely the best in town!

Horrible customer service and lousy food. Some older lady waitress was extremely rude to my wife and I. Any and all questions were replied with short, unhelpful remarks. The food was terrible as well, Panda Express is a better alternative if youre looking for Chinese food. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

Been there regularly. Food usually good. However, on the second time we went, no other customers, service horrendous, brought out first meal than the second long after the first meal was completed. And cold. and when done we waited about a 1/2 hour for our check. Zero customer service.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Davis. I have been coming here for the past 23 years! Highly recommend the Wonton Soup, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Chow Mein, and Dim Sum. I cant actually think of anything I havent enjoyed! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food was a little greasy and very lightly flavored, meat included in each dish we ordered was left in large pieces that needed to be cut up to eat more conveniently. Payment policy with cards is very harsh. So far my least favorite Chinese style restaurant in Davis.

They served me food with a long hair in it. I sent it back and 2 minutes later they served me the same plate that had the hair was in. Then the server gave me attitude when I told her that their was a hair in that plate. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Best General Chicken in the world, crispy with dried peppers, fairly unique compared to the usual candied meatballs. Chin Jiu Chicken also recommended. Everything else is good but standard Id say.

We really like Ding How for take out. We go a few times a month. The food is always good and the people nice. The Hot & Sour soup and Orange Chicken are particular favorites.

Veggie Chow Mein is really good, fried chicken dishes can be a bit fatty w/ connective tissue... not very appetizing, but the mushu, potstickers, and crab rangoon are great!

The Ding How restaurant has been around for over 35 years and is still one of our familys favorites. The cost? Who cares - the service is great!

The seating is more private than the neighboring restaurants. The food is great and served quickly. The price is $35 for three people.

Nothing very special about this Chinese joint. The food is very good, the service is great, and serving sizes of food are adequate.

Really really great food here but a little pricey. If you want cheaper go to the amazing Chengdu place just a few blocks away

Best vegetarian Chinese food in Davis. Tons of fake meat choices. I really love the vegetarian hot and sour soup.
