So disappointing, as this place is right on the water and the menu appears good. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp as the appetizer and then this arrived it looked so delicious but as put that shrimp into my mouth my eyes watered. I realized they put horse radish mixed with the cocktail sauce making the shrimp extremely hot to eat. I asked the waitress to return it as I never heard of any place putting horse radish on shrimp. She walked back and forth for a while confused as to what to do. She returned with supposedly a new shrimp dish and we did not see the horse radish in the dish, but again when we took a bite of the shrimp, it was still covered in horse radish. We asked her to take it away. Then the Mahi Mahi dish arrived and it was rubber and tastless. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes, but again no garlic at all on the potatoes. We actually asked the manager about the garlic potatoes and he claims they just boil the potatoes in garlic, but dont actually add garlic to the potatoes. Bottom line their pricing for their food was high and the quality was very poor. We had to keep asking the waitress for salt, or something and my friend had to eat her meal without anything to drink as this waitress did not come back. If you go to this place just have drinks and enjoy the view but dont waste your money on their food.

Jan 22, 2015 The Location and view is good. The interior is worn and tables need to be updated. The Menu is way over priced for Lunch. I had the worst example of a Calimari sandwich there could be. I awoke with nightmares about what the kitchen and its staff must be like. The presentation was a joke. Cheap thin slices of sourdough bread toasted and dry with a large, 1/1/2 inches of Iceberg lettuce, a huge half inch thich tomatoe slice topped off with 3 very thin pices of Calamari, which was over cooked. It came with a tiny bowl of sauce, not tarter, which I expected, but it was white with taste of horse radish and lots of pepper. To make it eatable, I had to take it apart at the table, remove most all of the lettuce, The huge tomatoe, apply the sauce to the dry bread. It was a mess, but the cold slaw was passable. The tomatoe was more than twice the volume and weight of the Calimari. I was there for our 4th annual meeting of a international volunteer organization as a member. There were 14 of us and Im recommending we never come back here.

My gf and I went to go shopping in the area around and decided to eat here. The wait on a saturday evening was about 20 min which was fine. The food was pretty good, I got the hawaiian chicken and was satisfied. I didnt sample any of the seafood. The waiter was acceptable up until the end. ** CHECK YOUR CARD STATEMENT** I paid with credit card and kept the final post tip receipt as I always do to check to see the correct amount was charged. My card was charged 7$ over what I clearly left on the receipt. I left cash tip and my waiter still took 7 more dollars for himself. Thats just ridiculous. Im calling later today to fix this nonsense.

Ate on the patio, dining room does not look very interesting....GREAT location, food was pretty good....as a business, it seems like they could reduce their prices by about 30% and be a lot busier (Salad "adds" made a Salmon or Shrimp salad $22), although we arrived today at 11:45 and by 12:30, the patio seating was pretty full. Ask for "Tall" if you want a full sized Bloody Mary (which is a bargain at $7) and I did notice some really nice ice cold service of a neighbors Pino Grigio and peeked the menu said this was $19...not bad at all for this water view real estate. Well go back again and really enjoyed our lunch.

Yikes! Had high hopes for this restaurant as it was suggested by a friend & the view is beautiful. It was awful! Most of the food we ordered seemed like it was from a can...poorly prepared, bland and the worst nachos Ive ever gotten in a restaurant, my son ordered the mac and cheese and he said it was worse than the mac made from a box, other items we ordered were equally bad....not sure why it has stayed open this long except for the killer harbor view. Id suggest Chart House or make the drive to the Beachcomber if you are like me, and the view is as important as the food.

Stopped for lunch on Presidents day on a drive up the coast. Orders were confused so one dish came out early and was cold. It was seared tuna, which wasnt actually seared (cooked to medium on the outside). When we sent it back, they just re-plated it and put more sauce on it, making it cooked nearly halfway through. We spoke to the kitchen manager who was very condescending. Instead of apologizing for half-assed preparation, he tried to tell us what "seared" means. I could rant some more, but suffice it to say, find a better place to eat. Dont waste your time or money.

Based on their customer service on the phone, I would NEVER step food in this place. Was bringing in a huge group of VIPs and was trying to get a feel for the restaurant as I dont live locally. To say the woman on the phone was rude is an absolute understatement. Rather than try to sell me on their establishment and why we should dine here...she simply kept referring me to the website and cutting off. No loss on our end. Well gladly spend a few thousand dollars elsewhere.

Front desk gave me a hassle about having a stroller. My daughter was sleeping, and I have already have had a stroller taken, because the front desk didnt watch it..when I was told it would be watched. So I am not taking any chances. That is no reason for the hostess to give me attitude, and basically shun my family and I to the bar area. No view for us, because we now have a child. Food was OK, our waitress was great. The drinks are strong. So that was the upside.

You cannot beat the view. But, the food was pretty eh and this place needs a serious make-over. The carpet and tables were pretty old and battered. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. There was a buffet but it was too late in the day and you could tell it was sitting there for quite a while. The staff was very nice. The parking was a bit of a nightmare but they did have free valet so be sure to use it!

The definition of form over substance. The view with sea lions, pelicans and terns diving after fish is lovely, but the same cant be said about the food. We ordered a calamari appetizer which was neither appetizing nor calamari. The seared ahi was good, but covered in a positively nasty sauce. The price is too high for a mediocre product, despite the pleasant view and friendly staff. Avoid.

My wife and I had such an amazing experience here. The food was great and the service was amazing! Great food, great service, great people, and great ocean views. A very Special thanks to the Manager Tyler! He is a great person and really went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had a great experience. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be eating here! Auuuuriiiite!
