Ive been going to this particular In-N-Out since I was little. The food is always delicious and the people making the food are super polite and never make a mistake. The reason for 3 stars is that the location is slightly terrible. There are always homeless people around which usually scares off some people so I thought Id mention it, but the problem for me is the fact that this location is very busy and on the corner of a major street in Costa Mesa. Therefore, the line ALWAYS runs into the street and people turning onto Anaheim cant get around the line and if youre going to come here youll be waiting in the drive-thru awhile. Lastly, this is not an In-N-Out where you can go in and sit down. They only have a drive-thru and a walk up window.

When you come here expect the same as you would expect at any in n out. They will fill your mouth and order right every time. One thing though, they cater to the drive through before the walk up customers. Dont be surprised if you stand around for 15 or 20 minutes. And seriously dont be upset at the guy/gal behind the counter because you wont get anywhere. Also keep in mind there are only 3 tables situated in the parking lot so there is not ample seating. Unmatched inexpensive food is hard to put down though, long lines or not I will still stop by every so often for a protein style cheeseburger and fries extra well done (so crispy).

Alright lets first start out with the burgers. The burgers are amazing, In-N-Out is unlike other fast food places. All of their food is fresh and never frozen. If you order at the walk up window you can see them make your burgers. But if you decide to take drive thru well then your out of luck. Usually between 5pm and 9pm every night the line always gets carried onto the street. On average the wait is 30 minutes it really isnt that bad though. With the circumstances they have, they get through you quick. Bottom line the foods good and drive thru has a long wait.

I love the food here but there can be some inconsistencies quite ofter. This location seems to always be busy and has a lot of people so expect long waits for the food. Also when in drive thru check to see if they forget anything as it is very busy and the worker might leave something out(coke,fries,etc.). Overall pretty good except for some inconsistencies here and there. Also they tend to prioritize drive thru and eating area is small so best option is to got for those walk up customers.

I only give this location 4 starts instead of 5 because of the way the store is designed. Its a walk up or drive up only and during peak hours they get incredibly busy. There are two sides to drive up to but the line goes all the way into the street and at some point you cant get in the drive through like because youll be in the middle of an intersection waiting. Staff and food is just as good as any other In N Out though!

I always pray the drive thru line isnt queued out onto 19th St. when I come here. This location is hands down the most busy fast food spot around here, lines are always spilling out onto the street, yet the employees keep it moving swiftly. What you do get when you finally reach the window is great customer service and the impeccable quality youd expect from In-N-Out.

I read about this place on Zagat and gave it a try - I was disappointed. On a scale from 0-10 this burger was struggling to be a 5. I am from Seattle and this burger doesnt even come close to for example Red Mill burger. Or many other NW local burger places. Burger was dry, bun was chewy and fries had a sort of cardboard texture. But the price and service was great.

IN n out has some of the best hamburgers around. My personal favorite is a 2x2 protein style which is a double burger wrapped in lettuce as opposed to hamburger bun which is a little healthier. I also like my fries animal style which is their special sauce smeared on top of the order of fries. You cant go wrong with in n out.

Ive lived in Costa Mesa for 30 years, since I was a young lad in n out has been the place to hang out. So many memories where made here, like when Jenny from the block fought with a hobo over a burger, blood everywhere. Nevertheless, solid 4 stars, the food takes forever to make but worth the wait.

I really needed the restroom urgently. The order queue was about 10 people in front of me. I asked to get the restroom code. Reply was I get the code only if I order before. So I needed to wait about 15min to get the code.. Never heard about the Maslovs Pyramide? Very unfriendly

I just waited 25 minutes in the walk in line and I dont think a fast food joint even if it is In-n-Out is worth waiting 25 minutes for. They have a horrible system there and they dont give food to people in the right order. Just make sure you avoid this particular one.

Sitting here now with only one car ahead of us. Miraculous! Ive ordered our entire meal from the secret menu, including my first root beer float thats not on menu. I LOVE feeling subversive whilst indulging in food that could kill me. I love this place!

Slow service unless you are getting drive thru, creepy people often around the area at night. No where to eat outside or inside. I prefer drive thru, safe in my car and prioritized. Slow and dangerous otherwise. Great friendly staff, great food too.

Never thought I would complain about any In-N-Out, but...do not walk up here. I waited 10 minutes. I was the only one. Tons of cars went through drive thru. I ordered animal style fries. Buy the time I got my order, the burger was cold.

The only reason they do not get five stars at this location is because...well because of the location. Parking here and getting in and out can be cumbersome. I always park a few blocks away and just walk there...it is much easier that way.

This is our local In-N-Out. The staff is always very friendly and there is dual drive-thru which helps as this location (like many) gets very packed! Well worth the wait though! We love In-N-Out and come here often!

Amazing in every way. The only bummer is how small the property is, often cars are lined up into the street for the drive through, and parking is very limited. If you can bike or walk up, thats the way to go!
