Ahhh Yes....Al Costello!! My brother in-law brought me to this place and boy...I am glad he did. I passed by this restaurant for many of years and never stopped in and I am sorry I didnt. They have the best calzones that I have had in a long time and their bread sticks are wonderful. We visit this place atleast once or twice a month. The prices are a bit high, but maybe that is because I am feeding 5. I wish they would serve their meatball sandwiches for dinner rather only lunchtime. This place is very nice inside and very comfortable. The only bad thing is the parking....very tight and not enough spots when you have to share with other stores.

After waiting awhile to be served and the ONLY people in there. They got the order wrong. Being born in Italy doesnt make me a expert. But Ive had better at lower grade restaurants. Thanks for making a lunch with the future in-laws a horrible experience. They finally asked to replace my food after everyone was already done. And not even a appologie. Just that they made a mistake. I would have eaten the vegetable lasagna had it not been for the grease that poured out as I first cut into it. And the Slimy texture where even the marinara on top separated from a massive pool of grease.

What a fantastic jewel this place is! Terrific food and helpful, friendly knowledgeable staff. The location is uninspiring on the outside, but inside is a very decorative, fun eatery. It is big enough for a fun friends or coworker get together and at the same time a quiet romantic date spot And the food! It was fantastic. A group of us each tried something different and were all rewarded with a delicious dish. Next time youre looking for a great place to eat, try them out. You wont be disappointed.

We LOVE this place! Its great for date night, but its even better for bigger family dinners. They make it feel special no matter what. The sauces are amazing - my favorite is the pesto. The gnocchi is outstanding - like no other place! The desserts are also really nice. Tiramisu and cannoli, as well as the not the typical. I am Italian and this is the ONLY Italian restaurant we visit. We love it there!

This place used to be great, but the last visit was a letdown. Food was bland, no garlic in the dish. Lots of pasta, but the tiny piece of veal in the Saltimboca was soggy and grainy at the same time, someone obviously never learned to drain the pasta, and needs help cooking Italian-style. Need to go back to their prior chef, or get a new cuisine. Wont be back soon...

One of the best Italian places in the area! From pizza to pasta to salad, everything is fresh and tasty. Some of it is pretty rich and the portions are generous; come hungry and/or prepare to leave with a doggie bag. Weve going to Al Castello for years and will keep going back. Weve been there enough now that we know that its not a persons name ... Hahaha!

I loved this restaurant! Their cheese pizza was affordable and SO cheesy and good you really dont need any other toppings. But the last time I went there, the pizza had very little cheese and was bland :( And had gone up in price!

In my opinion, this reminds me the traditional NY Italian restaurants that I grew up with. Ate here two nights and both choices were delicious. Finishing the meal with their gelato was also great.

I visit Al Castello Ristorante for their meat lasagna. To me, its the runaway best tasting lasagna around. In chatting with the manager, its their most popular dish. No wonder why...its delicious.

Just went there last night. Had a pasta dish, and chicken parmesan. Both were excellent and flavorful. Service was 3/5, Im picky and like more personal service. Bit pricey, but great food
