In the 80s I worked right across the street from the "original" location on La Cienega-It was a burger lovers dream and there was nothing like a double king chili cheese with fries-they used to drop the hot dogs in the French fryer to cook them so the fries got the benefit of that bit of pork fat-Like everything else it has changed and gone downhill-I dont know why people cant learn to leave things alone when they work? Last time I went to Fat Burger I asked if they could make a double king chili cheese-they could-IF I could tell them what it is...I miss the days of Big Mama chasing away the three card monty dealers and slipping extra pickles on my DKCC...

Everytime I come here the burgers are delicious. Made to order, fresh ingredients, hot off the grill any way I like it. When I ask for extras, never a problem. Yes it is pricey, but Ive never left thinking the burger was not worth it. Problem is the sides. I would give 5 stars if they didnt nickel and dime guests for frozen then deep fried french fries/onion rings, etc., and the last straw is $2+ fountain drinks that, lets be honest, maybe cost them 10 cents. Thats my only complaint about this place. Would also recommend this location, very nice and clean.

Checked it out while working in the area. I ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries and a drink and it was $10! And this combo was the same size as a Wendys small. It tasted good but was not worth $10. For this reason, Ill avoid this place and go somewhere with better bang for my buck. Also, this location closes early (9pm), which is silly in my opinion.

The burgers were juicy. To the right xxl burger with everything med rate, to the left med burger without onions. The girl could have had some better customer service though. When walking up to the counter she said" whats up what will you be ordering ".

Great food and service! Very underrated: I believe they have what it takes to compete with In-n-out, The Habit, etc. The have many options, from Cajun to vegan. All fresh ingredients cooked right in front of you.

Tried this restaurant based on a Google Offers from maps. Burgers were quite tasty (and large!) and made in front of you, not behind a wall where you cant see your food being cooked. I will go back again soon.

Allways have to stop at a fatburger when I am Florida. Good burgers made fresh and still hot when u get them. Burgers at Super super burgers at San Francisco are of simular quality.
