Excellent crispy outer layer of fried chicken and fries! Exceed the expectations of what I was craving for! Place to go when autumn comes and temperature drops. I was really craving for some fried chicken comfort food for weeks. SafeWay has them, but that only turns me into wanting them more since those arent so great. After searching yelp and google, made some comparison with KFC, Churches, and other restaurants with great yelp reviews, decision comes down to here. Best of all, the customers in front of me even let me order first since my enthusiastic glance at menu must move them! Or they were just annoyed by my uncomfortably approach them to see the menu better. However, it is deep fried food and pretty grissy (a good kind of grissy), I think I will need some break before coming back here again.

Went throug drive through , got home and had someone elses order. FIgured ill go indoors and order next time so there wont be any mess ups, SUPRISE I asked employee is all my order complete ,told it was. Got home and found all sides were missing Chicken tenders were dry as a desert,French fries were Cold and Soggy,Mashed Potatoes were ok but the Gravy was Terriable. Called to complain was told IF you dont like our food THEN eat some where else. This was at the San Pablo location. WILL never step foot in Popeys ever again

I always love Popeyes chicken. The chicken is well prepared and very tasty. I like the spicy version for the extra kick. And the sides are very high quality with generous portions. Ive tried the Green Beans, Mac-n-cheese, Cole Slaw and the Mashed Potatoes. The Cajun gravy even makes those special. The service at this location is always attentive and friendly. Great place to indulge a guilty pleasure for fried chicken.

What can you write about a place you get food poisoning from. Eat there last night and throwing up all over the place. Would not and will not recommend this place should have starved would have felt better and today I have a very important meeting and now I feel like crap not today's crap cause that is all liquid.

Amazing food I can always count on. The chicken is fresh and crispy, the biscuits buttery, the mashed potatoes and fries delicious. My girlfriend said the Mac and cheese here is the best Popeyes Mac and cheese shes ever had. You wont be disappointed.

Service and food was pretty good. The parking lot is a bit small and off of a busy portion of San Pablo. Overall, everything Ive expected out of a Popeyes. They even had some great $5 specials that were worth the trip.

The customers that come here are the least desirable, but the manager that works behind the kitchen counter is efficient and fast. Food here is always but good, but always feel like the sides are too small.

Popeyes is bar none the best chain fried chicken. KFC/Churchs cant stand a candle to the breading and seasoning of Popeyes. Plus the sides are better, too.
