Ive been visiting Taco Bell for the last 40 years in the SF Bay Area and elsewhere in Calif. Thus, to preface this, when it comes to fast food, Taco Bell is my 1st choice over any other fast food franchise. That said, I had the most disappointing experience in your Benicia, Ca. location. The order taker was barely responsive when I arrived at the counter to give my order. To make matters worse, there were no other customers that were in front of me or even in the restaurant. That should have been a tip off right there. Time of day 2:30 ....3pm. Additionally, I should mention that the amount of meat filling was particularly "SKIMPY" compared to what I haved received at other Taco Bell locations. Regretfully, I will not be returning to this Taco Bell at the Benicia location and will have to be more selective about which Taco Bell franchises I select in the future. This is too bad because over the last 15 years when I would visit my mom here in Benicia, not far from this Taco Bell, I would also stop to grab a bite to eat here. Hopefully, this Taco Bell located at 700 Military Drive in Benicia, Ca. will strive to ensure that the preparation and delivery of food meet the standards that loyal consumers like me are more accustom to receiving. Ill preface by saying i literally never write reviews, but the consitency of how slow this place is made me want to say something. During mid day, this location is fast and efficient. After 7pm though...? Strap in. You will be here for awhile. It is painful to watch the night crew work. Im writing this so ideally management will see it and correct what seems to be a systemic issue. When i eat at Taco Bell, its because im in a hurry. I get that sometimes there is a rush and a place can get behind. But every night?

I love Tacobell but this one, Im sorry to say, have a 70% chance at getting your order correct. Its mostly from the English barrier but just recently they had gotten a new staff and things could change. The food has never been horrible at least but its wiser to go inside to order just to make sure you can call out any issues easier.

Alejandra was able to help me and my buddy while serving the drive through, mopping and trash all at the same time. Great service and decent amount of fillings in all 10 of our combined items. Also have to mention the ingredients inside out burritos were portioned out perfectly.

They do fine, but theyre chronically undermanned, slow, have problems operating their credit card machine, their freeze machine is usually brown, and they often get orders wrong. Check your bag before you drive away.
