Date : 14th Sep 2016 Time : 6 Pm A huge restaurant with 100+ seating capacity, with only 1 waiter and all empty chairs on the weekend evening should have rung some bells in my mind when entered. But since my buddy is a biriyani fan he really wanted to try chicken dum biriyani. After we found a comfortable seat (literally the whole place was empty) the only waiter comes down to hand the menu. Seriously the menu was perfectly printed with some amazing pics that makes your mouth water, I saw chicken charga and got so excited its a whole chicken grilled then I saw mutton kheema samosa which was another favorite of mine. So the waiter comes in to get my order and says "Oh we are out of mutton kheema samosa" ok fine no problem can I get a chciken charga, the waiter goes "Its one whole huge chciken grilled" I was like dude I know what a charga means thats the reason I am ordering. He was like "Ok let me check the availability" comes back and replies me in negative. Then mutton dum biriyani was about to take 40 mins to prepare, chicken biriyani was available. It really felt so freaking weird of sitting in an empty restaurant with this kiddish waiter going back and forth to the kitchen to check the availability and coming with negative reply that we finally woke up from the seats, asked him to cancel our order, said goodbye and went over to Nanking. This place is seriously a joke at a place like Artesia.

I have been going to Mezban for years. In fact it is one of my attractions to make an hour drive to Artesia! The staff is amazingly attentive. The Owners has the kindest smile as if relaying to every customer how happy he is to receive them. Great food! Yummmmmmm...and I always pack it for next day too! Kids love it. Guests love it. I have taken my American friends who thought they never tasted anything so nice. Even notice special care by Owner to me. My British Fiancee ... is still talking about it. Its the Best !!! No comparison. Case closed :)

I have been to eat here quite a few times, as far as the taste of food is concerned I am always very happy. Thier lunch buffett is a deal. The service is good the owners and the staff are very cordial and helpful. On our nieces wedding they did the food catering for us at the Knotts Berry Park hotel and everything was tasty and per request. Definately a place to go if you have a large group as the restaurant and spacious.

I used to really like their food. Only good Pakistani place with good spicy food. Now they dulled down the food so much to attract more white people as regular customer, also for kuds, I assume. Now the food is so bland like all other indian restaurants. One recommendation, you can split the tandoori pan in two small pans, instead of one large pan. And keep spicy in half and the bland tandoori in other half.

Just relied on the reviews and went this place, but turned out be my worst experience. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton keema, naan. Biryani was below avg, no flavors at all. Keema was actually seems like left over pieces of sheek kabab. Naan was so sour. Add to all this i had stomach upset within 10 min exiting. Definitely there was something wrong with the meat. Definitely not recommend.

The food was very good! The only problem is that it took almost an hour for us to receive our order... Spoke to the owner and he said that he recently had his cooks leave and he hired new people. The servers there also seemed frustrated because the kitchen was moving too slowly. Customer service was ok, and food was great. Hopefully they can get their act together soon.

The food was ok, but the service was terrible . The front desk manager had a terrible attitude and made us wait even though the food was already ready and was in front of him. The restaurant should treat all their customer with value in my opinion, as for me this was my first and last time coming in to this restaurant.

Huge place .. empty and can seat a 100 people. Was worried that the food would be the left over stuff from the buffet at lunch. Totally surprised. Their mixed meat plate, daal , goat biryani, tandoori roti .. all excellent. Good Indian/Pakistani food. More Pakistani and North Indian Punjabi

Ambience is excellent. Food is delicious. Mostly Indian/Pakistani dishes. Attitude of the front desk is a turn off. They want everyone to go for Buffet, and the service around the table for separate orders is not very good. I would go there again, just for the food though.

Worst place ever, food was served cold, no taste or value for what is charged. Its nothing like Indian cuisine. It is just a big hall in the name of restaurant and to top it all the attitude of the cashier or not sure if he was the owner, even worse.

Well, if youre from Hyderabad-India, you would know the biryani they serve here is no where close to it. I guess you cant complain, they have a decent spread. The naan they offered was very good, but the spread can be better.

The food is very average. Nothing extraordinary about the food or the restaurant. They have a buffet which is just.. meh. We had a shrimp biryani as well which also was just mediocre. Foodies, its a pass.
