FINALLY. A spot out in the ioch with fine pupusas. I used to have to drive out to platanos in berkeley, not anymore! Not a fan of either mi salvador restaurant out here. I am strictly a pupusas guy and theyre good. My parents have tried everything else and keep coming back. We work nearby and couldnt be happier to find The Spot for pupusas

Well today will be my first time I cant wait to taste the food here. If I like it I will change place. Just had the soup. It wasnt all that. It was expensive. The chicken wasnt so crunchy. It was just ok. I will stay with my regular Salvadorean Rest .

The food was not appetizing as the bean were thin and runny. Also the owner was very rude when asked if my auntie could use the banos. He waited until we were both at the hallway before gruffly telling us it was out of order. Do not reccomend.

I have eaten hear twice both times superb the ham & eggs were really good the tortillas are thick & handmade. Im having the soap da gallina India/ country soup . the service is exelent. Fela is my server.

We call and order 5 pupusas. They charge me for 15. Careful if you place a phone order. They so busy they dont get the orders right.
