Sawleaf in the marketplace completely solves my withdrawals for delicious Vietnamese food when Im in Irvine :) The location is very modern, clean, and super cute inside! They have really cool artwork and I love the layout of the store because it feels so open and bright all the time! The service is amazing- everyone is really friendly and they always check up on their tables even though its not a full service restaurant. Calvin, the owner, is seriously so passionate about the food and that shows through the quality and consistency. He really cares about his customers and that definitely translates to his staff as well. I feel like Ive tried most of the menu by now so Ill break it down: Beef pho: the broth is amazing! Its super hearty and you honestly dont need any sauces because its so flavorful on its own I really appreciate the fact that there are separate broths for the beef, chicken, and vegetarian The soy garlic tofu pho is also surprisingly Delicious even though I loveeeee meat Spring rolls: so light and refreshing~ I also love the dipping sauce and its great with sriracha Egg roll bites: perfectly crispy and a great appetizer since theyre so small and theres a lot a lot so its easy to share Banh mi: I love how the bread here is perfectly toasted so its crunchy but also soft! It doesnt hurt your gums like some of the other banh mi places :) Ive trade the lemongrass beef, chicken, and pork belly and they are all so good so Id recommend Any of them! Bun (vermicelli) and salad: this is my go to when I want something healthier feeling especially cause theres so many greens~ Loaded sweet potato fries: I prefer these with the shrimp :) its another good appetizer and the sriracha aioli is bomb like always~ Sparkling mint limeade: my favorite drink here because its super refreshing and light! Vietnamese coffee: really creamy and smooth :) its also sweet and strong just as it should be~ All in all, I love everything here and Id recommend sawleaf to anyone because they have such a huge variety

I was looking for a noodle soup option and Sawleaf was one of the few choices. The menu is straightforward and simple focusing mainly on Vietnamese classics like pho, banh mi, bun, and spring rolls. I opted for the deluxe beef pho that was touted as offering more beef and noodle by customer demand. At $11, I was expecting a top notch bowl. My order was ready in about 10 minutes and was a large bowl with several well cooked slices of beef, plentiful soup broth and standard noodles. Overall, it was an average bowl with just slices of beef and nothing special (no tendon, beef tongue, ox tail) and a very basic broth. Despite the premise of being cooked for hours, its not super impressive. Overall, if youre craving for pho at the Packing District this is a passable choice but for the real deal Id head to Garden Grove. Sawleaf accepts credit cards including Amex.

My cashier was not friendly. I waited 10 minutes for a sandwich. My sandwich was small ,dry and the meat was dry and seemed like it was cooked not the same day.

Nice location inside the packing house among other stores. Had the delux pho and sadly the so called premium beef was so overcooked like chewing rubber.

The BEST Pho Ive ever had!!! If you go to Anaheim, youve got to stop here. Food is amazing, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is outstanding
