Bought a coffee and a croissant before entering Disneyland, but neither worked-out. The croissant tasted like a stale dinner roll, tough and chewy instead of soft and flakey. But the big irritation was the coffee and the store manager. When I took my first drink the lid popped-off and coffee spilled on my shirt. I tried and tried to get the lid to stay, but it was hopeless. The rim of the cup was too deformed to accept the lid, so I tossed it all in the garbage while waiting in line at the Park. I noticed another customer in the Disney line with a big wet coffee spot on the front of his shirt was also struggling with his lid, and recalled that a customer in the bakery had also requested a new cup, I assume for the same reason. I thought: "I should let Le Brea Bakery know, because wearing hot coffee is a bad start to a day at Disneyland, and it looks like a chronic problem. So I explained the coffee cup problem to the manager at La Brea, and she said, "We dont put the lids on, thats the customers responsibility." I explained that "No...Its a cup problem. You need better quality control for defective cups. Let someone know so this stops happening to your customers." She then proceeds to demonstrate to me how to put a lid on a cup. REALLY!!!! Treat the customer like they are stupid! I wasnt looking for my money back. I didnt want anything free. I just wanted to give some polite feedback to the manager in hopes that other people might avoid the same experience. She was indifferent and treated me like a child.

this restaurant is a joke. we made reservation at noon for 8 pm. we showed upped and checked in at 745. we were told our table was almost ready. at 8, my father asked what was the status of our table and he was told that people were still at the table we were going to be seated at. so the first person we talked to about the table blatantly lied to us. He then asked to talked to a manager and we got Veronica Meletti. Worst manager for a restaurant I have ever dealt with. my father began to address his corners with her over the table and they then decide, almost 20 min after we checked in, that they could put some tables together. I came up, with my father talking to miss meletti and I asked her why her staff blatantly lied to us. she accused me of yelling to her and I identified that I was a disable vet with hearing lose. Miss Meletti reaction was to call security. security showed up and then Miss Meletti lied to the security agents and told them we were rude to the staff when the only person we "yelled" at was her. for a Manger in the business of customer service she clearly doesnt know how to proper serve her customers. She clearly has no problem calling security on a disable vet because he raised his voice and then identified himself as having a disability that causes it. her actions were a clear violation of federal law.

Neither of us had ever eaten here with hundreds of times walking past. We put in our name and was told it was a 20 minute wait, and to hang around because they only call out the name twice... no pagers, no text message, they just call out names into the crowd at Downtown Disney. When our turn came up, the hostess actually came over and told us. Which made me happy as we didnt hear them. And we were seated on the patio, a bit hot and sunny, but will suffice. Kenri was our horrible server. Started out ok getting drink orders, but after that service pretty much went downhill. He was slow on getting drink refills or anything else we asked for. And was not really around. Other people ended up get our drinks and delivering our food. Food was great, We started with the cheese plate then my wife got the Pomador and I got the scampi. We then switched about half way because we both loved each others meal. The excellent food kept it at 4 stars even with a lousy server.

I walked in here today (8/ 26/2017) at about 1 pm ( La break downtown Disney) for lunch and got seated right away, the server who was assigned to us had an attitude from the get go, ( her name is Kim) when we just ordered water for our drinks , she very rudely said, "thats it? " and left. When she came back we told her were not ready to order yet, she then threw her hands up in the air, rolled her eyes and stormed away. We were so shocked with the attItude we just stared at each other with our mouths open, finally we decided we dont deserved that kind of treatment and walked out of the restaurant without ordering. The experience left a very bitter taste in our mouth. I dont know if well ever go back to this restaurant again, I though Disney has impeccable costumer service but this is the worst Ive experienced so far, annoying or not you do not treat costumers this way. I hope La bread Cafe will do something about this complaint.

Had reservations for eight a.m. (8), which is wise to make prior to getting there. We were seated and waited approximately fifteen (15) minutes and flaged down a wait staff to get service. We asked for coffee and then complained to the hostess letting her know. that no one acknowkedged nor came to the table. There were many wait staff who walked by four or five times, We are season Disney pass holders and we frequent the restaurants in Downtown Disney quiet often. It is very unusual to receive poor service at any of the locations. Once Noel was assigned to our table he was very accommodating, took our order and followed up with coffee and asked if there was anything else we needed. I give Noel 5 stars for his understanding and service.

My boyfriend and I came here one morning to get some Mickey waffles but it was just way to packed so we settled for this place. I got the Brioche French Toast with seasonal berries, maple syrup, and powdered sugar ($12). It was fairly decent. It came with 4 pieces of toast which was not bad but I thought it was a little pricey but what do you expect when you come to Disney. My boyfriend got the Chicken Protein Bowl ($17). It consisted of arro, broccolini, pepitas, pistachios, sundried tomatoes, green peas, white beans, feta, lemon vinaigrette. He thought this was okay. That is pretty expensive for a salad and it wasnt even a lot. Their dinner menu sounds good but I think we would probably not come back here.

The beer was delicious! We sat at the bar and got to watch the chefs make our pizza; the only bad thing about this is that we watched one of the chefs touch the garbage can a few times before making some pizzas without washing his hands. We later saw the same chef drop the pizza paddle (?) On the floor before placing it back into rotation. Our food was very good, but the executive chef wasnt sure what a matsutake mushroom was, even though he claimed it was on their menu. Im giving them 3 stars because the service was excellent. The food was delicious, mainly because we got to watch the chef (who washed her hands frequently) make it.
