Frenchs Bakery is a popular bakery, serving Orange County for over 50 years. While the loaves of bread and coffee cake are quite good, Ive found that most of the cakes and cookies are consistently overly sweet. The carrot cake has so much sugar as to almost be inedible, and the Italian wedding cookies contained almost no almonds and again a ton of sugar. While I occasionally enjoy a sweet treat, I dont want to consume an entire weeks worth of sugar in one dessert. I recommend tasting before buying here!

From here Ive tried cookies and a few cakes like, my favorite was a slice of pecan pie, for $2.98. Its a slice that is very fresh and decadent. The cherry is only a half cut cherry made too look whole from behind the glass case. This bakery makes the warning that none of their products are nut free, so beware allergic people. In all a great bakery, but hardly the "best" in Orange County as they and the OC Register claim.

Had a great experience with Frenchs Cupcake Bakery. Needed about 35 cupcakes for my daughters baby shower and something gluten free for her. The cupcakes were delicious and they even gave me a suggestion to save money on the gluten free cupcakes, chose a little 7" cake just for my daughter, she loved having her very own. Chocolate with chocolate ganache . . . awesome!

They have weekly deals... good for cookies , frosted brownies, and a breakfast treat called the wagon wheel its like a Danish Pizza.. I only have them 4 because their cakes are nothing special.. the best one is the white with strawberries. They also have fresh bread.. I do recommend this place

If you like french food this is your ultimate place!! Easy to find parking. Best Filet Mignon ever! Must order vegetables and Gavroche beer. Overall great place to go and please your taste buds.
