Low rating is due to service. Came in this Sunday 3/20, right at about noon. Luckily there was no one in front of us but it still took like 15 minutes to seat us (group of 6 so needed a booth). They had a whole other half of the restaurant unused because they were extremely under staffed. So we get seated by the host guy who works the front counter, the waiter was busy and we literally talked to him one time, he wasnt even the one to take our order. Surprisingly the food came out pretty fast, maybe 15 to 20 minutes, but this was literally the last interaction with any staff initiated by them... We had to flag people down for everything, from refills, to napkins (no idea why they gave us 3 napkins for 6 people when we are eating chicken wings and pizza), and even the check at the end. Had we left it up to them noone would have came by. After requesting napkins, ketchup, and cheese, and no one bringing it to us, my wife had to flag down a server that wasnt ours to tell her, and she rudely walked away when my wife was mid sentence. Our table was right by the entrance and so we could see it started to get busy as it turned into a big group of people waiting to get seated. One group that got their right after us waiting until we literally got our check... Had to be about an hour. Again this is all while the whole other side of the place was empty. It really surprised me they would understaff so much on a Sunday. The guy who sat us in the beginning was literally hosting, taking orders, and bussing tables. I am usually incredibly understanding but this is the first time I even considered leaving no tip at all... My wife was the nice one and decided to tip... But I would have felt justified not tipping. I also dont think I have ever left this long or negative of a review. Needless to say I will never be going back to this place. I would say go spend money somewhere else. Pizza and food wasnt worth the hassle or headache. Rant over

Ive lived in Alhambra for almost a decade and every time Ive gone to this location, the food is good and the service is okay. However, I just went on a Saturday (4/22/17) at around 4pm and received the absolute worst service ever. I went with my boyfriend and mom and they told us the wait would be about 25 mins even though there was a clean table opened. About 15 minutes passed and we saw the table still opened so we asked the host if we could sit there. He said that table was reserved even though they had told me they did not accept reservations when I called prior to going to the location. 45 minutes later, table still opened and other (dirty) tables as well, my mom went to tell one of the managers (a female) that we had been waiting for a long time and there was a lot of tables opened. The female manager rudely asked my mom "do you still want a table or not?". My mom got upset and decided to walk away. Then came the male manager, this short-chunky guy with glasses, and asked us if we had a question. My boyfriend asked him if they only had 1 bus boy because there was a lot of tables opened but they just needed to be clean. The male manager then asked my boyfriend what any of that was his concern. (Are you kidding me? youre supposed to be a manager and you respond like that?) My boyfriend then asked him again and then the male manager told my boyfriend that that wasnt the right way to ask a question if we wanted a table. My boyfriend got upset and told him that who was he to tell him how to ask a question. The male manager then told us that we either had to wait until all the tables were cleaned or we could go somewhere else and before we could answer him, he walked away.

If youre into sports, this is definitely the place for you. Me? Im not into sports at all. But I AM into yummy food which is exactly what Alondra offers. Ive been here on multiple occasions. Most of them, I left with a dissatisfied experience when it came to the staff. I only ever come back because of the pizzas but lately Ive skipped the chaos that ensues in the evenings and have ordered take out. There has only been 1 or 2 times that I have gone where I really felt the attentiveness of the staff was great and at par level. Every other time, it was an issue with either getting an order wrong, not coming to check up on my table, having to get their attention to get the check after clearly being done with your meal, and other things. It got to the point where I felt I no longer wanted to even bother with Alondra Hot Wings, especially since I am not a fan of the ambiance of the place. But I see myself coming back (always during lunchtime so its not busy and there are NO sports games airing live besides golf which nobody cares about) to give them another chance just because I am really craving that pastrami and mustard pizza (which is no longer on the menu, but last time the waiter was nice enough to still ask the cook to make it). Overall, my experiences with Alondra have been less than amusing but I would still recommend it to people when it comes to their great selection of food choices from the pizzas, to the hot wings, chili cheese fries, and the deep fried snicker desserts!

Worse service we ever had, on Mother day, found a long black pubic hair at the bottom of my tray of wings and the mangers was super rude about it and yelled and Gave us 5 dollars off our 70 bill. On top of that we had a fly on my son fruit punch,and all they never came back to give us a new refill. They never brought my daughter a spoon for her corn, they expected her to eat with her hands. He disrespected my wife on Mother days after waiting over an hour and a half on Mother Day Justin needs to be fired, he has no costumers service skills, poor excuses for a man lend alone a Manger. Pls go to a different location unless u want Justins pubics hairs on your food.

This place has horrible service. Totally under staffed. The manager is terrible at his job. They really dont care about customer service. It has really been an experience that will not be forgotten due to the fact that the hostess approached the manager with our concerns and management refused to hear her out and basically shooed her away. To make matters worse we finally get seated and and our waitress goes on a lunch break and we get the manager Esteban to relieve her and checks with us only one time at the start of relieving our waitress and never returned again to see how we were doing. Just a heads up to anyone who reads this: VERY POOR SERVICE!

No wonder that this restaurant has negative reviews from customers. We have the same feelings as to what they experienced. My friends and I were very disappointed. They delivered the wrong order and they were not sincere in apologizing. We were expecting that they will do something better to appease us but they still charge the food with a discount. DISGUSTING! The store manager was insincere and denying the situation and trying to be innocent. The servers turned their back on us. SERVICE WAS FRUSTRATING! INSINCERE!
