Ok, now that I have been here a few times, I feel that I can rate this place. I happened by here on a fluke one strange Monday morning. I live in far East Gilbert and was here on personal business. As soon as I was seated by the very friendly hostess, my waitress, Gailey (I hope thats how she spells it!) took my order in quick fashion. She suggested a few things and explained their special bacon to me. I am not a bacon eater and didnt stop here because of the name, but I decided to try some of their pecan smoked offering. The only thing that I can say is "Holy Cow (sorry , I mean Hog)!" The cut was thick, was cooked to perfection (as it always is, Ive found out on subsequent visits), and the flavor was amazing! Everything that I have had here is top choice. I used to work in the Southern U.S. and I know what great biscuits & gravy is supposed to taste like. They use a home made pork sausage in theirs. Unbeatable! I spoke with the owner recently and he told me that they make everything from scratch. The staff are excellent, the atmosphere pleasant, and the food cant be beat. Also, they are opening a new location in the East Valley. Dangerous for me!

My boyfriend and I tried the Oink Cafe for lunch today. There was no hostess on duty, we were finally sat by a server. I ordered the BLT and he had the Cuban. My sandwich was fine, his panini was really greasy. Our server decided to drop our check at our table before we were half way through our meals. I then let her know that we would like to try one of their maple bacon donuts for dessert. She then came back to our table and plunked a to-go container on the table and another check. We opened the to-go container to find what looked like a bacon covered turd. It was not at all what was depicted in the illustration of it on the chalk board. We each reluctantly took a bite and regretted it. Also, all of the servers had long hair and were wearing it down, which Im pretty sure is a health code violation. I especially didnt want to catch one of our servers pink locks in my food. Probably not going back to this place.

Went on a Saturday morning and the wait was only 10-15 minutes (not terrible considering the line). I had The Oink Omelet and it was AMAZING! My son and I shared half of it because there was so much food. What made it even better is that there was a substantial amount of meat and cheese in it. Typically, restaurants try to cut cost by putting in minimal amounts of ingredients but that was not the case here. The server was attentive and the owner (I assume) even came over to ask about our meal and the service. He seemed genuinely interested in what we thought and even talked to us for a few minutes. The maple bacon doughnut bites for desert were pretty good too. I will GLADLY return!

The food is good and well priced, but why only serve two pieces of bacon when the place prides itself on pork products? Another issue, we came in on one side that said "Entrance" and had to go all the way to another to ask to be seated, the hostess seemed a bit of a dimwit, but then an elderly couple comes in after weve been seated and the hostess runs to greet them. The waitress was great and very helpful though. Id give four stars if the Manager would have come over and asked how we are doing but he only asked the elderly couple next to us and another table, and ignored us! Thanks, this place was complelling enough to draw me in on my first visit, but not a second time.

Oink is a fun, busy place themed around one of Americas favorite foods: Bacon. Sadly, their bacon is mediocre, but the lively atmosphere, perky staff, other delicious entrees more than make up for it. It is rare that I eat someplace and leave with such an overwhelmingly good impression, and it is even rarer that it happens when the original purpose of my visit--bacon in this case--turns out to be a disappointment. Though I recommend tempering your expectations of their bacon, you should definitely give the place a visit the next time you want a satisfying breakfast. I highly recommend anything with the pork confit.

Visiting from another state for a few months, were extremely excited about the Oink Cafe. We were seated, then completely ignored. People came in after we were seated, they were expeditiously served. We waited and waited for our order to be placed, didnt happen. I got up spoke with someone, it still took at least another 10 minutes for the waitress to come over. We then waited and waited no food, everyone else around us had been served. None of the servers came over to apologize for the wait or to give us a status.. So we walked out...Horrible customer service!!! Very disappointed.

First of all the staff was great, no wait time around 8 am. The coffee was not great but was definitely better than most places. I really had a very delicious Oink coffee French toast with berry sauce, which was really what made the whole plate come together. The Belgian waffle was really light and it had a hint of cinnamon which made the waffle just perfect. Now for the bacon, well I truly love the bacon, it was so flavorful and crispy with the exception of the pepper bacon, which was just not for me. All in all I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

Went on a Sunday bad idea the place was so packed no waiting area but outside on the horribly hot patio was told 25 min wait left after 35 mins when we were told another 25 min wait.. place was very unorganized we ordered a bloody Mary and mimosa while we waited the elderly lady behind the bar was completely rude and out of her element she wasnt even nice to her workers.. Probably will not return to this place not to mention just for these 2 drinks were $17 the bloody mary was decent and the mimosa tasted like OJ and was VERY SMALL..

Meh. The menu options were tantalizing and some unique, the food from patrons around us while we waited looked incredible, but when fork met mouth...it was bland. I had the pork confit omelette and was underwhelmed with something that was supposedly a specialty and to make the restaurant stand out. There was quite a crowd with an expected wait time, so others seem to really enjoy it (as the reviews will indicate), perhaps we were there on an off day. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone, but also wouldnt deter someone from trying it.

Any breakfast place that offers a flight of bacon on a pig platter is definitely worth a try! The subtle differences in the varieties were intriguing. The Jalepeno bacon definitely stood out among the rest as our favorite, folkowed closely by the hickory smoked and apple cider. Service was fast and friendly, but the rest of the food and bacon bloody marys were nothing special. The bacon maple donut holes we ordered were hard and crunchy, not at all what we had hoped for.

My wife and I came here early on a Saturday and everything was okay. We were a little disappointed as we were just expecting more. This is about as average a place as you can expect when it comes to breakfast food. I am not saying that there was anything bad with our meal, everything was fine and their service was prompt and courteous. We just left the place thinking that nothing jumped out as amazing to encourage us to make the extra drive to eat there again.
