What follows is my account of the vitriolic abusive tirade I received from a person whom I can only assume is the proprietor. Note: I am not a customer of this establishment. The first time I ever set foot in here was this afternoon. Some background: I work in the building that this establishment inhabits, as a customer service representative. Every Thursday, I walk to Del Taco on 3rd Street and Thomas for their Thursday Taco special (yes, I am a reasonably able-bodied guy and I can walk a few blocks in 110+ degree summer weather). Recently, the building has had construction going on in their South parking lot, so access has been blocked. On my way back, I see that the doors are blocked by construction fencing. I see a gap between the fence and the building, so I check to see if there is an entrance. At the end of the gap is the entrance to Cranberry Hills. I had never been in there, but I figured I would get no trouble. I can see the glass doors which lead to the 3003 building lobby, so I try to pass unobtrusively through. As I am walking through the establishment, a middle-aged man, whom I can only assume is the proprietor, blocks my progress between some tables. He tells me in a clearly aggressive tone that "you cant be coming in here with food from another place". I let him know that I have never been in his establishment before. He replies with "Good." I tell him that I will gladly leave his premises and I try to go to the lobby entrance doors, but he blocks me again and says "You go out that way, and dont ever come back", pointing at the street entrance I entered through. I tell him I am exiting his establishment through the lobby, but he continues to be belligerent and denies me access. I dont need any scene (though this has already become one due to his yelling), so I turn back and say "Have a good day!", to which he replies angrily "You too!". I am really not interested in his motivation for treating me that way (though it is possible he has had many people of late using his establishment as a pass-through without making a purchase), nor do I actually care how he treated me specifically (though I cannot deny some anger at my treatment in the moment, I can attest that I was nothing but polite to him). What I am interested in is making sure that as many people as possible learn of my treatment at the hands of this person, because if he treats {{a potential customer}} this way, I have no doubt that he has treated, and will continue to treat {{paying customers}} in the same manner. Let the patron beware.

I got the cranberry, apple, chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich was good except the cranberry was like grape jelly. -A very disgusting consistency. I was expecting dried cranberries or cranberry dressing. I ended up throwing away that side of the bread. I also got a chili on the side which seemed very low quality. It mostly sauce with just a few beans inside. The salad looked like it was form a bag... Also, the delivery price was $5! The minimum is already 10 dollars so you cant get away with lunch for under $15. I could much nicer lunch for $15 dollars. That made lunch over $20 after tax and tip.

Upon entering the Diner, you are welcomed by a host/hostess, who also is your cashier. There is a sign on the left side which displays the daily specials. And, these specials are a real bargain and typically includes salads and half sandwiches. So, be sure to check these out before placing your order. The regular menu is above the cashier, and there is a wonderful selection. Usually I come in the morning and order an omelette, toast and a beverage. They prepare it quickly and in no time, it is setting on the table, hot and delicious. This place is Excellent!

ZERO STARS - CIRCLE K is just around the corner on Osborne & 3rd -Go There! AVOID this place unless you enjoy being ripped off! Mismatch pricing on items (items price one thing and rung up as another higher price), Airport Prices without the airport, *VERY RUDE*, uncaring Middle Eastern Staff & Owners that would almost rather spit on you than serve you anything,$3 for 20 oz of crappy coffee is ridiculous! LOW QUALITY,OVERPRICED GARBAGE!

The food is good and the location is convenient if you work at Central & Thomas and can walk there, but the two sisters who work there are rude! Really rude! I felt like I was back in NYC. Ladies, if you are under 40 or thin, watch out... they wont be friendly.

Excellent place to grab either a salad sandwich or hot grilled item. The chipolte chicken grilled sandwich is my favorite for lunch and the eggs benedict is absolutely great for breakfast!!! You definitely have to try them.

The ONLY reason I go to this place at all is that it is next door to the bank. Otherwise, I would avoid this place like the plague. Servings are paltry and staff is rude.
