Bought one of their vouchers on Amazon what a joke. Voucher good Monday - Friday only in fine print. We didnt know it at the time so we went to have lunch on a Saturday and I showed the waitress the voucher and asked if she needed to see it first and she said no thats ok I dont need it until after your meal, fine, I said ok. You would think that if a restaurant was selling vouchers on line they would notify their staff about it and the details, but not this place. Finished our meal and gave the waitress the voucher, she came back a few minutes latter after talking to another waitress and she said she couldnt accept the voucher because it was only good Mon - Fri, I couldnt help but laugh and I looked in the fine print and sure enough she was right. lol Now what restaurant sells you a voucher and makes it good only Mon-Fri. I thought since we offered to give the waitress the voucher initially and she didnt take it and at least look at, the least they could have done is accept it and apologize for the confusion, after all its not like we were asking for a free meal its something I paid them for already. I thought about it and decided to give them a call a few days latter and speak to a manager and let him know how I felt about the experience we had in his restaurant. Low and behold when I called, all I got was a recording and answering machine to leave a message. I thought to myself how would you even make a reservation here you cant even get a live person on the phone lol. The atmosphere is your typical bar on the beach. The menu is very limited and over priced for what they have. The food is terrible. I dont recommend this place.

Way way overpriced, doesnt even begin to describe it!!! Three people on a Friday night over $50.00 a person, the bill with tip was $165.03, but it doesnt end there!!! My bill ended up being over $389.00...why you ask? Because the stupid "waitress" over charged us on the first bill and then instead voiding the bill, she went ahead and charged the corrected bill as well!!! You should always go by the rule of first impressions. The first time I got the pleasure of experiencing this establishment, I got the most overwhelmingly, rudest "waitress" (if you want to call her that) I have ever encountered! I was in a party of 8 seated at a table that had four chairs and was then told to go find my own chairs for the remaining people of our party (isnt that your job lady), with more rudeness to follow. Waiting up 45 minutes for our "waitress" to find the time to actually wait on us, we ended up retrieving her and it still continued, to the point of making a complaint to management. Yes, she did end up giving us a free round of drinks and taking another round of drinks off the bill. And then to see our "waitress" being followed around by a superior for the rest of the evening was priceless!!! They say, "Treat one customer badly and you have the potential of loosing 50 more customers", I will shout it from the roof tops if I have to, and to everyone I know, to never go to any of the "Sandbar Mexican Grills" Still waiting on "Management" to return my phone call in regards to my OUTRAGEOUS BILL!!!

First of all dont support any of these resturants!!!! We were planning on going to Peoria Sandbar to celebrate my brothers 44th bday. We are an older bunch a party of about 20 people over 35 yrs old. We arrived for the dancing/ DJ. I had called earlier to get cost and dress attire. I was informed it was a casual dress, as well as a relaxed atmosphere. We arrived only to be turned away due to how one of our party members was dressed!!! This is a Mexican Restuarant, We are all professionals and were way over dressed. However the door man said that my colleagues shirt was too long???? Sheriffs stood by and witnessed what we were going thru and offered no help. Are u kidding me. I believe we were discriminated against. I have a problem with someone not allowing a well dressed man in "vs" a man wearing cargo pants and sneakers whom was let in w/ no issues!!! I am livid. I will be scouting out this place again to prove my case...so dont be surprised if u end up on u tube!!! Damn racist bastards! This is absoulutely ridiculous. You need to fire your door people or deal w/ a discrimination lawsuit in your future!!!! I would love to take this case to the Attorney General.

Called Cabin tonight around 820pm to see how long the kitchen would be open. I was told that food is served until 10pm. Decided the drive from Goodyear was worth it. We walked inside and the first person to greet us said "the kitchen is closing at 9 just so you know" no hi, how are ya, kick rocks..nothing. Let her know that I had called a little bit ago and that the kitchen was open til 10. Another girl greeted us and let us know they decided to close the kitchen at 9pm because it was slow. Okay, cool I get that. But how about the entire staff is on the same page? She says we can eat if we order fast. The food came out quick, sloppy and basic to say the least. Couldnt finish our meals. My patty was practically raw. The staff started putting the chairs on the tables as we were eating and cleaning all around us. If thats not a rude way of saying get out then I dont know what is. I really had high hopes for a good experience because every time I drive by it seems busy. On the upside, our server Alex was a sweetheart and very kind. So you can thank her for making it a tolerable experience.

We tried the Cabin a few months ago. The server was really nice, but felt it was a bit slow to get our drink orders in. We got there just after opening, so I chalked it up that. We shared a chicken sandwich which was pretty good. The mac and cheese balls are really good too. Once we got the food order in, it arrived fairly quickly (they were not really busy). It was not a bad experience. They do play country music, but I wont hold that against them. ;-) We tried a second time this weekend. It was not a bad experience, and the food is good. We have only tried a few things on the menu, but what we have tried has been good (a though the fish tacos were a bit meh though). Our server was super nice, but he disappeared for long periods of time. We came for lunch around 1:30pm, and we were there well over 90 minutes. Thats a long time for lunch. This is the main reason I am giving them a 3 and not 4. I think if they can fix the service issues (the time, not the quality) this could become a regular stop for us, but for now, Id avoid it if we are limited on time.
