Food (from HH menu): Albacore Nigiri: 3.5 stars Smooth, good sized piece & tasty. Tuna Nirgiri: 3 stars Fresh, no fishy smell / taste & good portion size. Salmon Skin Roll: 2.5 stars There wasnt much salmon skin inside of the rolls but more rice surrounding all of the rolls than anything. Squid Salad: 3 stars The squid in this salad tasted exactly like the squid salad mixture that Costco has, except this had extra greens on the bottom of the mixture. Dynamite Roll (Cali roll w/ baked crab on top): 3 stars This had way too much rice & sauce on top which overwhelmed the whole roll. Overall: clean place with good atmosphere & good sized portioned food here. If you like rolls more than sashimi then youll like this place. =) Service: Very slow, they forgot to check on us during the meal & we had to wave them down several times for water. -1 Tip: HH: M-F 4:30- Closing Sat & Sun: 3PM - Closing

OMG! Its hard to find words to accurately describe how amazing this place is! What a hidden little gem! I found this place when searching the web for suggestions. My sister and I had been running errands together and we suddenly realized we were hungry. By the time we arrived it was already 2 pm and this place closes briefly from 3pm to I believe 4:30 pm? Anyway, they treated us like we were their first customer of the day despite the fact you could tell the last of the lunch rush crowd was winding down. Their portions are generous, their prices are fair and they work some kind of magic with their sushi! The calamari was tender and melted in your mouth. The sushi rolls were fresh and they have the perfect balance of rice and components. The sushi rolls too seem to melt in your mouth as there is this perfect fusion of flavors. It leaves you wanting to a happy food dance in your seat. Lol

The owners do not care for anyone but themselves, they just treat their customers really bad. If youre sitting a table that the owner lady Yuki is serving, she will give you the cold shoulder and treat you like you dont exist. Not only that, the waitress caught the cook dropping food on the floor and putting it back on the plate, and when she confronted them they laughed at her. That happened multiple times. I been coming here for years because my friend was the waitress but I will no longer come back because of what I hear goes on in the kitchen. This place is dirty and full of arrogant restaurant owners who do not care for their clients. You guys are all better off somewhere else! Go to Tomo instead.

I will start by saying, the food was good, except for the Miso soup, which was terrible. However, we got the lunch special which comes with the soup and salad. We got our sushi, that was all. No soup, no salad, when we brought it up, we were laughed at and talked about 5 ft from our table, yeah ladies, we saw you pointing and laughing. We received a 15% discount for not receiving 2/3rds of our meal, and we were made fun of right in front of us. As much as I liked the sushi, and the prices, dont think well be back.

Its unfortunate that you cant give negative stars, this place would get negative 5 stars. Twice we ordered from here twice the messed up our food. The first time they had us come back and they fixed it. The 2nd time they refused to fix it. They said they didnt hear us order that and that we have our food and that is what we get. We will never go here again, this place has decent food and horrible horrible awful customer service.

Just moved to the area and was looking for a place where I can drop $20 and get a couple of plates full of sushi. Not disappointed. If you order during happy hour, you can get somewhere in the realm of 6 rolls for around $22. The sushi itself is great. I tend to stay on the simple side, but Ive tried their california, philly, alaska and tempura shrimp rolls and they were some of the best Ive ever had.

Gnat impressed! Yes, Gnat. There were so many gnats everywhere. We sat in the booth in corner and had to move because we had 2 land in our food, and saw others crawling up the wall. Once we moved to the other side we only saw one. Ordered sushi, and was not impressed at all. We also ordered shrimp fried rice, it was very oily and bland. I wont be back.

Service was good. The husband and I were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was pretty full. Our food came pretty fast as well. The place appeared to be clean from what I could see. We even received and orange peeled and cut in quarters to eat after our meal. Overall it was a good experience.

Great place, the best sushi in west valley. I gave 3 starts , because the waitress doesnt know how to wait tables. They brought in the food, drinks, and never approach us again. Not even when we wanted to be checked our. We had to go to the register to pay and leave

Went during happy hour (which is all evening long everyday!) All that we ordered was good and even tried some new things. We just came from Japan so we know what we like and this was the best one so far since we have got to pheonix and decently priced. Will return.

This cute little Sushi shop beats all of them! Better then Tomos, Kabukis, all of the above. You have to try their Ninja Jalapeno Rolls. Oh my gosh to die for. The manager is so sweet and recognizes when we go in. They have sushi named after animes. Cute****

Love this place, try to take the wife and kid here at least once a month or so. Great food, good staff, good prices and quick service. Place is a little small given the amount of people coming in but still a very clean and well run place.

Amazing rolls! I love the vegetarian and California rolls. Ive been to many places in California and Hawaii and I have to say this one in Arizona is my favorite. Also cant beat their prices. Thank you for great sushi and good service. <3

Always great food, but dont trust them on the phone. Called in on what time they close and the lady told me 9:30 but got there and it was closing at 9:00. Drove 30 mins out of my way. Not cool at all. Wont get my business again.

I love this place. Wonderful happy hour sushi prices (prices are still good outside of the happy hour, but those are especially good) and sake bomb prices. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Sushi is tasty and fresh.

I have been a return customer here for a few years now and I have yet to find another sushi place I enjoy more. The food is great, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and Yuki is my favorite worker there, hands down.

Awesome food and nice staff. Try to avoid weekends when the chefs are rushed and food may not be as good. Weekdays is always good for a bite. Gyoza is awesome and miso soup is great (no msg). We love going here.

They would not accommodate my shellfish allergy by switching the sushimi to salmon and tuna. They wanted to uocharge me to each piece at 4.25. Good. Food but service is so so.
