by Never Again 11/02/2009 I have been there twice and wont go back. The second time I left without ordering or eating. I dont feel that waiting in line behind 10-15 other customers for food that is already prepared is good service. Basically this establishment wants you to wait behind idiots who cannot make up their mind on what they want while one person at a time is being helped. After all this, they expect a tip. Really, A TIP! For What? Other restaurants allow you to sit while you wait for your food and even provide a drink while you wait. At least you can feel like youre being SERVED instead of being treated like cattle through a chute. Ive been to many many "Cafeteria-Style" restaurants and never have I waited as long as I have in this place. There is a lot of room for improvement in this facility. When you consider there are a lot of other food opportunities for one to take advantage of, why would anyone want to suffer this indignity. The food is already MADE. Why not sit down and have a waitress or server come up and ask what you would like. Think of all the jobless folks out there that would love to have that chance and this place robs them while insulting the customer.

Simply awesome. We shared the pulled beef and pulled pork BBQ platters with potato salad, cole slaw, mac & cheese, and baked beans. The meat was awesome and the sides were also very good. The service was amazing. One of the older employees hanging around noticed we walked away with drier mac & cheese, so she gave us another side of it without us even asking. After dinner, my wife and son were playing with the classic video game console, so I was just walking around. One of the other employees (might have been the owner) asked where we were from and where we were headed. I told her we were headed to Vegas and she gave us four bottles of water for the trip. The food was awesome, but such great, personalized service makes this place a must stop for anyone coming to Kingman.

My daughter and I were on our way to Vegas and we were trying to find some place to eat in Kingman since it was lunch time. As we were taking the exit for 93 we saw the Pig on the sign and thought we would give this place a try. We wanted something other than chain fast food, and going local can always be an adventure. Floyd and Company Real Pit BBQ did not disappoint, we both went with the Pulled Pork Sandwich special with includes a drink and bag of chips. I will say we both enjoyed our large sandwiches. The pork was smoked to perfection and the BBQ sauce was very tasty. I would high recommend the next time you are in Kingman, AZ to give this place a try. It is a little off the beaten path, but well worth it!

If I could rate lower, I would. The food all tasted frozen and reheated. The brisket, corn bread, chicken, and macaroni/cheese was drier than the surrounding desert. The baked potato had an actual rancid taste to it. The chocolate cake had definitive signs of being frozen and thawed, more specifically the condensation pieces of chocolate get from being subjected to the process. We choked down as much as we could stand, considering we spent $35 on some of the worst food we have ever eaten. Our mistake, as both of us are now quite nauseous and feel as though we may not be able to keep this poor excuse for food down. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

I have been here with my family or friends at least five times that I remember. It is a great informal place to have lunch or dinner, but it seemed to me that the total costs were a bit high for an informal place like this, count on at least $15-20 for a meal there, if you want to keep the tab lower then dont have any beverages - they charge $2+ for a cola or iced tea. One GREAT point they have is that they offer fried okra (I love okra!) for a side dish. The entrees themselves (pulled pork, beef and chicken) are reasonably priced and taste good, the sides of corn on the cob, macaroni and cheese are good as well.

Messed up our order ...over charged us charged us for 2 jumbo when we bought one regular and other was jumbo asked for fries which came later threw the meal and hot wings ( also comes later ) forgot to charge us for fries so in the middle of the meal asked what we were waiting for turns out we had to wait longer to get the fries meal was done fries came ... oh and a meal of wings there is only 4 really thin ones ...idk what is was maybe because we are out of towners and thats how they treat outsiders but service was pretty bad I do not recommend this to any outsiders

We lived in Memphis for 35 years before coming out to CA back in 1999 and have sorely missed fine Memphis Q.....Rednecks BBQ pork sandwiches are just like we remember from TN. Perfection in the sause slaw and beans too. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. If you are not in a big huge hurry and can wait your turn in line, you wont be disappointed. The food is most excellent. We will be back. Cant wait to try the ribs which arent served until after 4.

This is truly a gem in Northwest Arizona. You wouldnt expect decent bbq so far away from bbq heaven (Memphis, and that is non-negotiable), but these guys are the real deal. Always friendly, and always good. I cant wait to try the wood-fired pizza place adjacent to Bubbas, which is the brainchild of Bubbas son. Downtown Kingman is really becoming a destination to satisfy your food cravings, and this place was on the front end of that. You wont be disappointed!

Pros: Probably the best chicken Ive ever had. Corn nuggets are awesome if you dont mind a blast of calories. You cant have a great BBQ joint without great iced tea, and this place had great iced tea (peach tea; no need to sweeten). Sweet potato fries= delish! Cons: closed on Sunday and Monday. ..Monday?? Also what is this, 1990? Get a menu on that website!

Thought Id note that they changed their name to "Floyd and Company Real Pit BBQ". EVERYTHING we tried was AMAZING! I had The pulled pork "Sammich" and my friend had the "Jethro Fries", both were AMAZING! The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful! They have a real nice beer selection and great atmosphere. best barbeque in a long time. I have been to famous daves bbq and this place is priced right and the food is great. Sometime waiting for real good bbq is a must when you have so many people wanting for the same thing you are wanting for. The ribs are the best I have tasted. Thanks You Redneck bbq Kevin & Rosie Alta Loma CA.

If you like Texas BBQ you should love this place. I had the brisket sandwich which had a great smokey flavor while my wife had the pulled pork sandwich which also had the same great smokey flavor, both were very tender. The prices are also very reasonable. This place is not far of the highway and is worth a stop.
