I recently had a bad experience with this restaurant. It started with me calling in to place an order (which clearly says on their site they deliver, yet no specific times that they do) & the phone was answered by a woman who im guessing is one of the bartenders. She was very rude right off the bat, I placed my order of the chicken tender meal and two other meals as well then she asks for my address. I give it to her knowing they are only a few miles away from my home then she put on hold to see if they would even deliver to me, once she returned I tryed to explain a little better on where I was because she seemed disoriented & confused. As I just start off the explanation of directions she cuts me off immediately with a loud sigh saying "Im busy right now" , well excuse miss but I was placing an order how rude she was about it was ridiculous. She had no experience in customersatisfaction, unless your in the bar paying her first hand it seems she has no time for you. Also she gave the total of $39 on the phone after the order was complete, then about 40 mins later the same woman called me back with a total of about $42 saying "I forgot to add on the $4 delivery fee" . Well the funny thing is I had already added the total myself and it was already $39 including the food and delivery tax so hmm where could that tax have came from? I asked & again she was disoriented so I asked her to send a receipt with delivery & she laughed at me on the phone. What kind of employee laughs at a customer for asking for a receipt? A rude untrained employee thats who, but of course thats not all folks, oh theres more. Once the delivery man came I tryed to brighten up hoping the food would be worth it but no I was disappointed to find a WRITTEN receipt NOT a printed one. You couldnt find time to ring up the order on the register to print a receipt? The orders were definitely not worth the money the French fries are the only good part of the meal and it looks like they tossed about 20 single fries in each box. The chicken was overcooked and only had Two strips to each meal, definitely not worth it & the burger was dry. Now Im not saying this all on one experience, no Ive been there many times in person & ordered delivery in the past years Ive lived in apache junction & its only been getting worse. If you test to go there you might as well look ahead to the bullriding (but careful of the drunken disorderly fights that break out in the fan crowd almost every night they host it). Buyers beware, my opinion, if you enjoy the place so be it but I really hope you can get a better experience then Ive been having. If you have taken the time to read this review thank you & enjoy good eatin if you can find it.

First time here and my first impression was, "pretty cool place". My husband and I sat at the bar as we thought wed get served faster that way. We were wrong. The bartender didnt even look our way until we flagged her down and there was only us and another couple at the bar. I figured, well she is just busy as she had to get the other waitresses their drink orders and she was the only one behind the bar. When she finally did get around to taking our order, I ordered a vodka and cranberry and a pizza. When I took a sip of my drink, it just didnt taste right. I took another sip and told my husband that it tasted like tequila. He took a sip and said, "most definitely tequila". (During that time a gentleman joined the female behind the bar). I got her attention again and told her my drink was wrong and she told me, "its got to be vodka, I took it out of the vodka bottle". I told her, "no, its not vodka, its tequila, smell it". She did and continued to argue with me that it was vodka. The gentleman, behind the bar, hearing our "conversation", checked my drink, said it was tequila and made me a new drink, this time with vodka, all the time the girl bartender, arguing, "I took it out of the vodka bottle". I really didnt care what bottle she took it out of, but tequila and cranberry juice is not a good mixture! Quite a while later, my pizza arrived and it was very good. I give this establishment 3 stars as the pizza was good and the gentleman (dont know if he was the manager), made good on my drink, however the female bartender should find another job.

I met some of my friends at The Hitching Post for lunch today because we heard the food was good and it was a fun place to go. Apparently, if you are disabled and have a service dog, you are not welcome at this restaurant! My friends are disabled, and yes we all have service dogs. We cover nearly all the disabilities, from hearing impaired, mobility impaired and even medical alert. The waitress, I actually felt sorry for. She was worried shed be fired if she served us, and trust me if she loses her job over this I will stand up for her in court. The owner of the establishment was rude, and insisted we have papers for our service dogs issued by Pinal County (The county this restaurant is in). We explained the laws to the owner and tried to give him the info he required. He wouldnt take the info. He finally called the ADA hotline and they told him exactly what we were telling him. He still didnt want to believe it and told us to call first before we come back! Stating he was going to research this and print off paperwork for us to read. The food was good in spite of the owner.

The Bartender/"manager" is often heard swearing and acting like a down right fool most nights. She is always arguing or yelling at someone. In short she lacks any kind of class and Im not sure why the owners would think that she is any kind of person one would want representing their company. Its not uncommon to find her daughter, around 10-12yrs old, wearing a HP shirt and actually serving. The staff overall is friendly. The food is okay depending on the cook. Ive tried this bar several times and wanna like it. The bartender though often ruins a decent night out. This place is all ages w an adult until 10pm but when you have the bartender swearing at the top of her lungs its hard to even take this place as a serious place to try to take anyone who isnt in for a trash bar experience. Ive read many posts saying the city discriminates against these guys bc of Moes ethnicity, however if this is the way one conducts business I can see the citys reluctance to work with these people

I have NEVER been so rudely treated because of my service dog. We walked in because we thought this place looked like a fun place to eat. It was PACKED. Not a problem, but nobody was eating at all. We were about to walk out when a man walked up to us basically yelling at me that I couldnt have my dog here. I said, politely, that she was a service dog. He immediately asked for her papers. I was getting it out of my purse while saying that I dont actually have to produce those by law. He then told me that what I had was not a real licence and hat they dont accept "comfort" dogs. I said that she was actually a SERVICE dog. He said that she had to have a vest on. Ridiculous. I understand asking if its a service dog but how he handled it was completely inappropriate. I will never go there and will tell people that a jerk owns this place. I do find it funny that the first review I see on here was also about service dogs. Im really sorry for the people that work there.
