Every time I go in, I feel like the layout has changed until the restaurant has become almost maze-like. At first glance there appears to be only one unisex bathroom, but there are two other bathrooms upstairs with a couple stalls, and there are two more unisex bathrooms behind the bar. The ones upstairs are nicest. I wouldnt mention this part if I didnt think it was important. If you go, youll understand. This place boasts two bars with a wide selection of beers (some local), wine, and cocktails. They have live music most weekends, and the location is nice. The upper level (which is up a steep set of stairs) has decent view of the surroundings. The lower level has several booths and tables as well as a bar. The upper level has mostly tables and a bar. Theres also a room behind the lower bar that used to be used for dining or private parties. I dont know if its still used for that since the layout changed again. The upper level has a balcony that you can walk out on. Theres also a patio in the front for nice weather. I cant say enough great things about the customer service here. The food is great, but the people who work here are awesome. They offer the best customer service in any restaurant in town hands down. The food is a little pricey, and there arent many healthy options. The Irish fare is delicious. I recommend the Maytag Chips. If youre wanting to splurge a little (in calories and cash), this is the place. I highly recommend it.

DISAPPOINTED. I have to say that I am not usually picky or overly critical of restaurants: Im as happy with an $8 sandwich as with an $80 dinner and I really want to like this place, but the food is NOT good. The 1st time I went, my friend had Shepherds pie, which was delicious, and I had the Fish & Chips which were practically inedible. Last week a coworker and I split a Shepherds Pie for lunch(its plenty big...no fault there) and it was again delicious: very creamy potatoes, well seasoned and just the right amount of gravy. Tonight we placed a takeout order: the hotwings appetizer was okay; I ordered a Reuben ; the corned beef was very tough and the sandwich seems to have been microwaved; the fries were limp and greasy (and Ive never met a potato I didnt like...until tonight). My neighbor ordered the Shepherds Pie: tasted ok but was very dry. and we didnt get the vegetable that was supposed to come with it. I will say that the rolls are great, but then its pretty hard to screw up food service yeast rolls.

Have eaten here many times but not for about a year, mostly because of various personal reasons. So we decided to go tonight. I must admit I was surprised at the changes. Now you can eat upstairs, still no "dumb waiter" for servers who must take food from downstairs to upstairs. And there are a lot of steps. We ordered the appetizer of Maytag chips. Not at all as I remembered, some chips were so tough, hard to chew. I ordered the special tonight, knowing I could not eat it all. It was a small sirloin, 4 shrimp, and 1 crab boxy (cake). My side dish was the creamy grits, good as I remembered. The crab boxy was not crispy on the outside, but it was good. Steak was cooked as requested, grilled shrimp ok. I must admit that the steak knife was a glorified serrated paring knife, definitely not the expected steak knife. Now, all of that said, there were enough friendly servers. The tables were cleaned in a timely way. Will I go back, yes! It was a busy friendly place.

Great place to take a date or sit at the bar and grab a few drinks with friends. Also very family friendly, with kids menus, crayons and super friendly staff, willing to cater to each customers desired experience. Lots of comfort food selections if you are hungry with big size portions. Ive had shrimp and grits (one of my favorites) at several places and theres is one of the best Ive tasted. If whiskey/bourbon is your thing, they have the most extensive list and selection Ive ever seen. And most importantly I noted that if they dont have the specialty whiskey/bourbon you want, the owner is super accommodating and will track it down and keep in stock for you :)

Great atmosphere, great beer/whiskey selection. My only complaint is one that seems prevalent with other restaurants of this type in this area. Just because you serve American food with an Irish name does not make it Irish! I cant believe this place has the gall to call itself an Irish pub without serving standard Irish pub dishes like corned beef and cabbage, original boxty (although the crab boxty was pretty good), lamb stew, or colcannon. Until this restaurant offers these dishes, I probably wont be back, since I can just stop at most other places in the area and get 90% of whats offered on the menu for a cheaper price.

I absolutely loved it!!! The food was great and the atmosphere was very unique. Our waitress was kinda dingy but I loved her personality lol the hostess though was a little on the odd side. When we walked in we were not sure if we seat ourselves or not but we stood in the door way for a few minutes then we just decided to sit so when she got back to her station I went and told her we sat ourselves and she kinda just stared blankly the was like oh ! Ok ...so I was a little nervous how it was going to go. I had the bangers and mash. It was awesome. I also had a shamrock. So good .

BEWARE OF DRINK TAMPERING! I witnessed one of their female bartenders pouring an unknown substance from a plastic cup into the glass of wine my wife ordered. We reported it to management and she admitted what I saw was true. She still works here as a bartender! If she tampered with one drink, shell do it again. Watch your drinks, or only order bottled beer and have it opened in front of you. Or better yet avoid this place all together! Management looked the other way on confirmed drink-tampering. What else is going on here that customers cant see?

I have been to the Pub 2-3 times with my brother: once for dinner, once for drinks, and once for lunch. The grilled chicken lunch special was outstanding, as was the fried okra. I did not eat dinner, but my brother and sister-in-law eat there regularly. Every time Ive been the service has been outstanding. Although it may cater to their clientele, moving all smoking to outside the front door (and not on the balcony) would make it a much more welcoming place for most of the population.

The food was as horrible as our service. Although our server was very nice, we began noticing that all other tables seated after us began getting their food and drinks faster than us. Well, after 30 minutes of waiting, we received our food only for it to be quite cold. Why u say? Our waiter got a party, which in the long run lead to minimal attention to our food and refills. Will not go back for dinner but maybe for social gatherings.

Salad came out with the rest of our food and was room temperature. Sheppards pie was a bowl of potatoes with a little meat in the bottom. Chicken with vodka sauce was over cooked. Our appetizer, 2 fish and chips, and burger were perfect. We love this place, but it was way better when they first opened. Instead of going there for something special, we go for something different.
