I have ate here several times really like 2 time a week or so but today I got a small hot and sour soup and fried cream cheese wanton. I drover across the street to my office to eat and to get back to work. I put the fried noodles in my soup and took a bite they were a little soft like they were a day or two old but its ok I can deal with it so I got a fried cream cheese wanton out and took a bite it was soft chewy not at all like it should be so I called and told them what was going on they asked me to bring it back I did when I walked in I was asked "Whats wrong with it" so I told the lady as nice as I cold be I wasnt even up set at the time a little frustrated but not upset not until she tried to convince me that that were fresh and its the way they should be REALLY I eat them from there all the time so I as calmly as I could told her that tit was ok and that I would be glad to let the ladies at my office know about this being we was eating there so much and that we would not be back she still tried to say they were fresh I again said it ok you keep them I dont want them and I would not be back. really upset I wasnt asking for my money back I wasnt ugly I just wanted fresh food :(

ifi had a choice I would give them on star today but you have to give one to make a comment I have been going there for a while since the new owner left things have not been the same the attitude of these owners is bad on to day Jan 26 2016 she trying to argue with me about what I ordered I call 20 minutes before I want in and my order was not ready she said they had a lot of people but no one wasnt there so they had my lo mein all ready but no chicken so they said will fix it didnt not take long.an it was wrong the sauce was spicy so I told her that it was not right she said that is what you ordered I said no I didnt she said we will fix it they took my chicken and rinsed it off with water and i said I dont want that...so there is no telling how many people plates they have went on and got old food and just rinsed off with water and that was one of my favorite spots but not anymore and some time we wonder why we go to the same restaurant an eat the same thing but leave there sick some time it is things like this that what making use sick

I am originally from New York City and grew up in Manhattan by China Town on the Lower East Side. China Town was walking distance from our apartment and ate in China Town very often. Once I found East China on Vaughn Road in Montgomery and tasted their food, I swore I was back in China Town in New York City! The food is fresh, delicious and very authentically "China Town" ! The staff is awesome and friendly and can cook you up your take out order in 10 minutes! You can also eat in the restaurant in a clean and comfortable setting! Love it and it is so good to know that there us a little piece of China Town in East China Restaurant on Vaughn Road in Montgomery! Angela

The food here is wonderful - by far the best (and maybe only good) Chinese food in Montgomery. Service is always pleasant (they remember you are are very friendly). My only concern is that they recently changed their take-out serving sizes. I used to be full when done with a take-out order. Now, I still need more food. Very disappointing, and I hope it doesnt bring the place down. Quality is still excellent - just the portions are now smaller. I actually wish theyd have just raised their prices a bit instead of cutting the portion sizes.

East China is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Montgomery. The staff is extremely polite and friendly. They are accommodating even for individuals new to this restaurant, helping you navigate the menu quickly. Your phone orders are placed expediently and will rarely exceed 15 minutes in their busiest of times. I usually order their honey chicken, its crispy, tender and very well cooked. Give them a shot, you absolutely will not regret it.

I dont know what you guys are all talking about. This is mediocre Chinese food in my opinion. The Mongolian beef is definitely not my favorite and the cream cheese wonton was clearly frozen and deep-fried instead of handmade. I dont really consider this high-quality Chinese food, sorry.

Tried every Chinese place in town over the years. East China the BEST. Lunch price points very good; dinner portions sooo large, I can eat 3-4 dinners.

Better than most of the typical "Chinese restaurants" in the area. You can eat inside the restaurant, but its typically a carryout place. Prices are also very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get.

Food is unbeatable... always great! Staff is prompt, active, friendly and engaged... again great! Price is just right! For a nice experience I recommend this restaurant for both casual dining in or taking out.

Probably the best take out Chinese Ive ever had. Fresh vegetables, and made to order food. Sometimes a little slow to get your food, but its worth the extra wait compared to the other places around here.

The was our favorite Chinese take out place in Montgomery but the food the last couple times has been less than par. Price is still pretty good but sometimes theres a pretty long wait

Best Chinese around!! Absolutely loved the food! I tried both the cashew chicken and the Sesame Chicken both were fantastic and The egg roll was probably the best I have ever had!
