Food was great but the staff made me not want to return. It was 9pm on new years day. The place closed at ten and for some reason the lady waitress with the bad teeth was being rude. Sh said, we need to hurry up an order because kitchen closes at 10pm. We ordered appetizers and she then again complained, when we were not ready to order our dinner.. The end at the conversation she made a comment about me. I was Pretty upset. Wont return because of the poor service. We were gone by 9:50pm and she still bitched.

Crab Rangoon was greasy and chewy like it had been re-heated. Cashew Chicken was the worst I have ever had! Chicken was tough and it was just chicken and sauce, no vegetables at all. I had eaten only a few bites, so they asked if I wanted to take it with me. I said "No". They asked if I liked it and I told them no and that the chicken was very tough. They simply brought my check with no apology, no offer to fix something else, Nothing! Will never go back here!!

We are so glad that Mandarin House is still open and serving the same excellent food that theyve always served! Please dont let the construction fool you or deter you from patronizing this great restaurant--we should know: when our store, Holy Family Books and Gifts was still in the same center, we would always run over to get lunch. And now that weve moved across Rangeline Road, weve learned to run across the street between the traffic:)

Not a traditional Chinese buffet, this is more of a nicer sit down and be waited on Chinese restaurant. They have recently moved a few buildings over compared to where they were in the past and the refreshed interior is much nicer. The food is excellent and comes with big portions for a great lunch price. Go here when you are craving Chinese, but arent interested in a buffet or busyness of a chain.

Have been going to this restaurant for many, many years and considered it the best Chinese restaurant around. Now under new ownership and there are problems. Menu has been greatly reduced, our service on Tuesday evening was not up to par, serving plates for food were "refrigerator cold" not even room temp. No personal touch anymore. Will be searching for a new place.

Food is good. Price is good. Service is bad. Servers just so anxious to give you the bill and see hoe much you tip them. After tip, doesnt matter if they get 20 percent or 10 percent, they will not come back to serve your table. Host is extremely hostile and rude! In short, life is short, go to place that people make you feel good and happy.

I love Mandarin House, a long standing authentic Chinese restaurant in Carmel. They have a wonderful buffet for Sunday lunches with congee, dim sum, and a variety of food with distinctive flavors. When going to order food, you can ask for the Chinese menu, which has their more authentic offerings.

Friendly staff and very clean dining area, also the food is presented chef style with garnishes and metal pedestal bowls with lids for the rice. Decent portion size and fair price, good tasting food. Would definitely come back and try other dishes.

Swanky chinese restaurant, I love their hot and sour soup and pepper beef. Service is great, food is great, give this place a try and youll want to come back! The lo mein are the tiny noodle kind and there are a lot of them on one plate!

Food simply does not taste good. The Cham Ppong (spicy seafood soup) is bland. The Jja jjang myun tastes like instant food. Basically, food quality is very below average while prices are average.

For those looking for a quality, well-portioned Asian meal made with fresh ingredients and the American-Asian flavors you expect, this is the place for you. Meals are big enough to share.

Always get take out from here. The dumplings are awesome and I love the Yui-shan Broccoli! The fried rice dishes are just OK, but they have friendly service and pretty quick service.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Indy area. Must try if you are a authentic Chinese food lover! Buffet at Sunday afternoon is extremely popular, so make sure you arrived early.

We went for lunch and the food was way to salty. The server didnt even ask if we wanted something else. I thought this place was good based on other reviews but it sucked!!!

More or less a American Chinese restaurant. However, that does not mean the taste is bad.
