Okay so the Thomas guy is wrong. The coffee is amazing. Their roast is bold but not bitter. When I went there the girl at the counter, Emily, was very lovely and helped my boyfriend and I figure out what we wanted. She explained that the coffee shop was a decision made by a local church so they have religious functions now and then. Furthermore they home-make their sweetener as well as their whipped cream. On Tuesdays they have live music until closing and overall its just a great place. The coffee is not terrible and they have alternatives to espresso. Works just fine, tastes even better.

I had both the house drip and a pour-over "dark roast" coffee, both of which were weak and served in small, clunky, ceramic cups. Maybe it would have tasted better from one of their to-go cups? Also, we visited mid-morning, but maybe the help in the evening (when its busier) is better-versed on the how to make coffee? There were no aromatic elements to the pour-over at all. Also, there were no prices posted, just a menu chalkboard menu. One member of our party had a smoothie that was good, so plus 1 star for that, but based on the coffee, Ill never be back.

What a wonderful little place. A refreshing change up from the over "Starbucksed" world in which we live. Quite place for studying or work during the day also offering live music wa couple nights a week. If you like coffee and not all the fluff this is your place!

The core is an amazing place ! They have the best coffee around with some awesome chooses ! I love going there during the day to enjoy the music and just read and relax! The staff is very friendly and will help you figure out what to order ❤️❤️

Great local coffee shop starting out. Totally worth supporting! They focus on coffee but hopefully with community support they grow into a serious contender as there arent many places local to enjoy coffee, study, talk, etc....
