The worst Starbucks Ive ever been too!! I am a huge Starbucks lover enjoy all of there drinks! This Starbucks was an absolute joke! Had minor problems here in the past, usually got resolved. Went there the other day ordered my usual caramel Frappuccino waited in the drive thru about 15 minutes got to the window finally usually get an apology for the wait not this time! Got my drink was not what i ordered! Had no carmel in there! Did not feel like waiting in line for another 15 minutes so I went inside. The barista made a new one. Still not good! No carmel! She said they were low on carmel! Thats been your issue for months now order more carmel! People like there carmel! I asked to speak to manager, which btw was as rude as the barista was. I asked for a new drink he offered to make it. He didnt apologize or offer me a free drink or snack like they usually do when you guys mess up! No apology for the long wait in the drive thru nothing! The only thing he got right was the drink, finally! Absolutely a joke over there! Not to mention they were both whispering right in front of me about the drink! Not happy! I will never return to that Starbucks again!! Seriously a joke over there horrible customer service!!!! These people do not care about there jobs or making customers happy!!

I am constantly and consistently disappointed in the total lack of smile or professionalism from most of the employees at this location. And though this may sound misogynistic, it is the females working there that are the worst. At the drive through, they get the orders wrong, are curt, and often do not even say thank you or any standard greeting or goodbye. Its not a big deal except if you go to a place in the morning, someones attitude rubs off on you, especially BEFORE COFFEE. And so their attitude is much more important than at McDonalds or Wendys. As for the fare, passable, sometimes bad, the coffees are always great but the food? If they arent out of something, they overcook it. All they have to do is heat something. Thats it. It goes from a prepackaged fridge to an oven, but it sogs the breads, I find. And any specialty drink other than coffee is usually not sweet enough, though that is a personal view and not entirely fair. But I hate their teas. weak and not sweet. By comparison, Popeyes, McDonalds, even Hardies has great iced sweet tea. Popeyes is the strongest. It makes Starbucks look like a joke...teawise.

This location is terrible! They are constantly out of everything from cups, to sleeves, to product to sell. The staff is more concerned with chatting about the weekend than helping customers. They consistently screw up the most basic or orders. The manager allows his employees to smoke at the tables in front of the doors. Overall, the employees are friendly, but incompetent, and are led by a manager that seems to be either careless, or oblivious to the very obvious issues. I have been a very loyal customer for years, but I will now avoid this location, and travel to the Gurnee or Fox Lake locations instead. It seems as though these locations are fully aware of the incompetent staff at Round Lake.

This place does not even deserve one star. I gave this place many chances mistake after mistake. Everytime I go, their is a rude barista who doesnt know how to make quality drinks. I order a Caramel Frappichino and the way she makes it taste nothing like it, and tells me because they are low on Caramel. They are always low and dont have enough Caramel to meet customer demands. Your paying high price for a quality drink and after 20 minutes in the drive thru, 20 minutes inside, 3 remade drinks later I finally recieved what I asked for. Very rude customer service and they do not seem to care about making their customers happy. It is not worth my time and I will never go back to this Starbucks again.

Today I love my experience at Starbucks. I usually order a skinny vanilla latte but today I wanted to try something new. The barista with the long blond hair was exceptional. She asked me many questions and helped me pick out the perfect drink. I frequent this and every Starbucks in my area. If I try to take my time and pick our what I want or ask questions Im rushed and its very rude. The barista I had today is the bomb. I wish I knew her name. She has long blond hair and was working the front register on 3/4/15 around 9:45am. Thank you!

Very bad, had to take my drink back twice when I took it back the second time the girl in drive thru told the manager well she came a long time ago when it was just about 10 minutes ago then she snatched my drink from my hand like she was the one who had to waste gas twice she also told me thats how they make it so what do I want her to do when I just went yesterday and it tasted perfect she was very rude and I will be complaining to a store manager

This starbucks is one of the best i have been to. Annie and her staff do a great job helping the customers out with their orders. the person that said that they lack professionalism and that the girls are rude is totally wrong. the whole staff has always welcome me and know what my order is when i get there. I would refer my friends to go there and family also to get their coffee.

I received my order within 5 minutes which is typical at generally all Starbucks locations. They didnt appear to be sold out of anything (which happens, actually, but is really not a huge deal) and the drive-thru was quite busy. Its a small store but generally comfortable. I find the other reviews on this location to be both critical and vague.

I love this Starbucks. I used to go there almost every other day for some hot cocoa, and I still would if my schedule allowed it. The people are nice and they can all make good hot chocolates. The only problem is that, depending on the maker, the type of milk used changes. That may not appeal to some people, but personally I dont mind.

Almost every time I have gone to this Starbucks they have messed up my order. Today was the worst experience, though. They forgot to make my order when I was standing right I front of them! And my breakfast sandwich was ice cold. Awful experience and Im never going back to the Round Lake Starbucks again.

They NEVER have enough of any of the coffee cake. Whoever orders for this location does a terrible job and is causing them to lose a lot of money because they never have enough product for the customers demands . They are generally very slow.

Slooooow!! Three girls taking orders and one making drinks. Those taking orders - doing nothing when no customers. I have been to other Starbucks with fewer employees and more customers that ran so much smoother!!

I only come here for pricey specialty coffees once in a great while. Its in Meijer so they may have a limited or different selection than a stand-alone shop,Im not sure, but the coffee I got met my expectations.
