So disappointing, very shoddy business at best. The food is barely passable, the service is average. The phone numbers listed on the net, are just silly, one is a magic jack, the other a line that never gets answered. The hours listed online are a flat out lie. When you get there the real hours are listed, and are laughable. Trying to call in a lunch order is a joke, you get the magic jack answering machine, too funny. Family and drove to town from the Killen area to go for Dinner, online says they are open until 7pm. Tried to call multiple times, no answer. What a waste!

I visited The Chicago Cafe on July 5th 2017 and I was totally surprised at how great the hotdogs that we had and the chili that my daughter and I ate were. I have had chili from a lot of different places but the chili that I ate here was by far one of the best chili I have ever had and the dogs were some of the best hotdogs I have ever had I will definitely recommend this place to people that I know and I will be revisiting it soon thank you.

If you are craving the taste of Chicago then The Chicago Cafe is the place to go. Our group had the Atomic Dog, Chicago Dog, & New York Dog ... they were as delicious as any we had while living in the Chicago area. Freshly cooked to order & reasonably priced! Friendly staff. Located in beautiful Downtown Florence.

I have had a philly cheese steak sandwich from every single place that serves them in the quad cities, and the Chicago Cafe has the best, hands down. Theyve always got some funky dog thats worth trying, and for the level of service and quality of food, the price is beyond reasonable.

Hours are consistent with peak times customers are around so no problems there. Food and atmosphere are excellent. Ive recommended people to this wonderful establishment based my own experience there and have had darn near 100% positive feedback.

Excellent food and the staff are a family of authentic Chicago transplants. The owner always has a guitar in the corner for patrons to strum. Definitely worth trying.
