It pains me to write a bad review for this place, as Virago and Whiskey Kitchen are my top picks for Nashville restaurants. We arrived for Sunday brunch with a party of 5, and the wait was just shy of 2 hours. This was expected and acceptable, no issues. Eventually sat down, good table, nice waitress. Got drinks ordered, and then it took almost 25 minutes for us to get our drinks (with no visits in-between). We ordered food, and the food came out quickly and was very good. This is when the real trouble began. The waitress came back after we were done eating, and I asked for a dessert menu. Half an hour after the "Ill be right back with it", she came back and asked how we were. At this point our plates/drinks were still empty, and we had been sitting looking for her and the dessert menu. I skipped the desert menu and opted for our checks. I wish I was exaggerating, but it was another half-hour before we got our checks. I made sure to hold her at the table until we gave her our payments. She came back another 15minutes later, and the checks had been run on the incorrect cards. It took over another half-hour to get this corrected, and by this point a completely different waitress delivered the correct checks to us. I was upset, but never really showed it publicly because I didnt want to add to any stress she may have been having. Needless to say, I feel like the wait times could be cut down a lot if it takes almost an hour and a half for people to leave. Whatever happened, I hope it gets fixed. With slow service like that, the 2 hour wait times mean a lot more than high popularity. tl;dr: wait was long, but expected. food was really good took 90 minutes to get the checks paid after we were done spent more time sitting and waiting with no service than we did enjoying our meals

Parking is valet-price is gratuity only and they were excellent helped me out with a dead battery at the end of the night. Wait for a table was an hour. Service inside was also excellent wait staff was very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was very loud as in loud rap/pop/r&b music and people trying to talk over it. We sat across each other at a table and could not hear each other unless we were screaming-it was like a night club. We were given chips and salsa when we sat down. There was supposed to be three salsas but for whatever reason we only got two and they were not that good-how do you screw up salsa? We had Two appetizers- the guacamole which was good and the jalapeno poppers which were excellent but very spicy-one is more than enough-plate comes with four. Disappointed in the size of the drinks paid $12.50 for a blood orange margarita and it came in a tumbler glass filled with crushed ice. although it was good it was gone in two sips from the straw. For dinner we had the skillet nachos with skirt steak and cilantro lime steak tacos. The soft taco shells were the smallest I have ever seen probably 4" in diameter and you only got three other than that it was good. the Skillet Nachos cost $16.00 and were terrible. First you get a 10" skillet filled with tortilla chips and then on top of that they throw on some cheese, tomatoes, skirt steak (which tasted like pot roast) on top and broil it. In other words they charge you $16 for the same tortilla chips they give you free. Overall it was less than ok and not worth the price-for two people it was $100 for the meal and gratuity for the waiter and valet. I would not go back and would not recommend it.

Cool spot. Food was pretty good Service was awful. The brunch burrito was on point. The scramble was so-so. Being a table of F&B workers, were all pretty understanding in a busy restaurant. Our server seemed stressed, maybe hungover - but that is no excuse for his complete lack of manners and service. He completely forgot to put our orders in three separate times, cleared all of our appetizers way before we finished them, never once greeted us, or followed up on our food orders, our waters were empty the entire time, and he was short and impatient each time he touched our table - he even cut me off while I was trying to ask him a question about the menu, and said "Ill just give you more time" (only to return 20 minutes later). He might not have been MIA the entire time, but he had zero grasp of proper timing, and thats not easy on a group of folks who are trying to cure their hangover. Shame that our experience was so poor because the atmosphere was nice, but well definitely be choosing a different spot for our next Sunday brunch.

Came here for my first trip to Nashville &I couldnt be more impressed! Our server was dealing with five very different personalities and handled us with ease. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see multiple options that were not the typical vegetarian fare. My best friend ordered the vegetable quesadillas &I I split an order of veggie nachos with two other women. The nachos were fantastic and the serving was so large we couldnt even eat half of them. Rather than the typical spinach, mushroom, onion mix many restaurants offer,, we were given carrots, zucchini, tomatoes and a few other vegetables that were perfectly seasoned and not overlooked. They were fantastic! My wife raved over the stuffed peppers and everyone enjoyed the guacamole. They also offer tequila flights and were given a tasty selection of silver tequila. On our next trip to Nashville,we will definitely be going back!

Wow--really was looking forward to dinner here with my wife. Long story short, we ordered 3 tacos each, and we waited.......and we waited..........and we waited.......and I told our waiter how surprised we were that our food still wasnt there. And we waited........and we waited.......finally we asked them if we could just leave----wed been there an hour already. They offered to bag our food up for us, but we just wanted to get the hell out of there. I assume that our waiter forgot (at least twice) to turn our ticket in---he was too busy caring for a larger table next to us to give us the time of day. Thank God for Smiling Elephant on the way home or we would have starved to death!!!!!

I dont understand why so many people love this place? I could be wrong, but I get the impression that people here are paying for the ambiance and the opportunity to be seen (cough*GULCH*cough). Admittedly, its a pretty cool environment. However, in terms of the food, I have been here 3 times and tried multiple things each time without ever being really impressed. They have a couple good cocktails if youre in the mood, but the food is mediocre. I can name at least 5 mexican restaurants in Nashville thatll give you way better food at a lesser price.

The order was put in incorrectly. We ordered drinks. My friends Margarita was never brought to the table. The Posh Spice was sugary and tasted like it was filled with orange juice minus the rum. Perfect for a diabetic whose sugar levels were extremely low. The drink I ordered for my son was delivered after the food was brought to the table. The waiter seemed oblivious to the fact. They are a cantina yet they seemed to be low on their tequila supply. Atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is clean, but thats about it. Such a disappointing experience.
