My family and I ate at Iron Hill after my brothers graduation from West Chester. They easily accommodated our party of 13. I called the day before to let them know the party strunk and they had no problem with the change. For obvious reasons the dining area was loud due to the other graduation parties, but it wasnt a major issue. We ordered about 6 appetizers which were all amazing! The brie stuffed mushrooms and hummus were two of my favorites. I also recommend the bacon wrapped scallops and Gumbo Soup. Most of my family ordered burgers, which they said were cooked to perfection. Exactly what a medium burger should look like. I had the Ahi Tuna. I expected it to be a little more rare, but it was cook all the way through. The hawaiian salsa and mesclun on the side was delicious. For dessert we ordered root beer floats, a lemon tart, and ice cream. After the room cleared out a little bit our orders came right out of the kitchen. Our server was attentive and helpful when looking over the wine list and offering suggestions for meals. I would absolutely go back to Iron Hill for a meal. The outdoor seating along the street looked so inviting.

I visited Iron Hill with a few friends on Thursday night and the place was packed. Good thing I made a reservation online--we needed it! It has the same look as most brewpubs, with shining fermentation tanks proudly displayed and the walls covered in kitschy art. After we were seated our waitress handed us huge, 10 pound menus that could easily be confused with the Oxford English Dictionary. The selection runs the gamut of American fare, with some seasonal specialties. The beer selection was quite good, as would be expected, but I noticed that most of the beers tended to have pretty high alcohol content >9-10% ABV. I ordered the Ironbound Ale, which was pretty crisp and had a nice malty finish. I also had a Brewski burger, which was cooked to order, came out warm, and was a good value compared to some of the other menu items.Overall this is a fun place to visit, especially if you like a good variety of unique beers. The beers may not be the best youve ever had, but its coupled with pretty decent (if expensive) food, which makes it worth a shot.

My Mom and I went for dinner last night and I was very disappointed. I had the seafood pot pie. It was extremely bland and loaded with potatoes. Also, was not a true pot pie as it was just topped with a biscuit-like bread. In addition, my mother ordered a regular Manhattan straight up. The server brought her a top-shelf drink (per the servers admission) and then proceeded to spill about 1/4 of the drink as he served it. We were shocked when we got the bill and saw that the drink cost $11.25-outrageous! The bread we received was ice cold. When we informed the server of this, he told us that they always serve their bread cold. WHAT! Never heard of that one before! This was the worst dining experience I have ever had at this restaurant. I wonder what is going on?

We had a party of 15 adults and 9 children, 7 of whom needed hi-chairs, for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Iron Hill did a spectacular job accommodating our large group. The food was excellent. 5 stars. The service was excellent. 5 stars. The wait staff could not have been more attentive and polite. Again, 5 stars. Our food came out in a reasonable time. Hot, or cold, and delicious. Dessert? Fabulous!! I would highly recommend going here!

Ive been coming here for years. Its a great place. The beers change fairly often, but still have some standards. They lean a lot on the wheat beers (which I like), but occasionally have the hoppy ones my friends enjoy. I havent had a bad meal in all my visits there. (And I visit there a lot.) The pizzas are constantly changing (go for the wheat crusts.) They also have some meals on the lighter side if youre watching your incoming calories.

Really great beer (since they are brewing it on site)! Also, the beer is super cheap and really affordable. The food on the other hand is a bit expensive, but it is pretty good. I frequent this restaurant often, especially during happy hour when you can get pints of their local drafts for ~$3! I also purchase growlers here which are really affordable and delicious at home. I really love the Witberry local draft.

On our first visit we had beers and gumbo. Delicious. Second visit we had a pulled pork sandwich and a Greek chicken salad. The portions were extremely small for the price. A few strips of chicken and a dusting of feta on the salad. Pork was tasty, but the portion was a tease. We told the mgr and she said theyd send us some comp coupons. With all of the reataurants to try, we wont return.

Two words: cheesesteak eggrolls. They may sound strange and they are certainly indulgent, but trust me, theyre DELICIOUS. The meatloaf is also great. Its served with perfectly-cooked string beans, buttery mashed potatoes, and a few onion rings to round out the textures and flavors. Try to get a seat in the dining room, since the bar area gets a bit crowded and noisy.

Excellent food and overall experience. We started the "linner" meal off with an equally tasty Kennett Square mushroom soup and beer and cheese soup. The quinoa salad, dom dom noodles and fish tacos also were amazing and just the right portions. Finished strong with a delicious banana bread pudding dessert.

The good was excellent. Crab cakes with nearly sold cream, excellent young greens and corn salad, potato "chips," and the better special was just as good. But the service... Good thing the young man serving the next table was attentive in this late holiday evening, as our server kept disappearing.

Wasnt impressed with the fried mac n cheese appetizer for $8...... Should really be called "Mac n Cheese Bites" and only got three pieces n they are not big at all:-( the containers that my dipping sauce came in was bigger than the actual mac n cheese "bites"..... Wasnt impressed!!!!!!

Nice brew pub and catering restaurant. We had our company Christmas party there. Parking is in the rear of the building, which is on a commercial street. Our party had assorted appetizers which were very good. Everything was nice, nothing was outstanding, "knock-your-socks-off".

Atmospheres is nice and the waitstaff did a good job. I had the big blue burger and was not extremely impressed. They overcooked the burger and the rest was just mediocre. I wouldnt mind trying something else on the menu but since Im not from this area I wont be able to.

We had searched a fine restaurant in that area and chose this place following the review. I was so disappointed by the seafood pot pie which looked so cheap and tasted too plain. All other food were not exceptional, either and too salty. I dont wanna go back again.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed eating here. The food was really delicious. However, we did have one really crappy waiter. He kept forgetting our order or brought the wrong stuff. Also, he did not check on us again once our order came out!!

Not enough good things to say about this place. The food is good, pretty much everything on the menu and adequately priced. The beer selection is fantastic. The atmosphere and service is always great. Highly recommend them, and are family family friendly.
