As locations go, Europa’s is tough to beat. The downtown setting is right across from Center City Park and there is plenty of parking nearby. This proximity to the heart of the city goes a long way toward explaining why Europa draws the crowds that it does. Were it located elsewhere, it would probably be struggling to stay afloat. To its credit, Europa is a good-looking space. The tile-and-wood interior is classy and evokes Old Europe quite nicely. It is not particularly roomy though, and when the restaurant fills up, the acoustics are horrible. The patio is similarly deceptive. You get a great view of the city from outside, but be prepared to pay for it by enduring head-splitting boisterousness. Europa’s European-influenced menu offers both classics and a few intriguing sounding dishes, but the execution is uneven. A steak au poivre was tasty if a bit understated, but my companion reported her steak (with a flavorful red wine sauce) was undercooked. Both came with frites that were indistinguishable from fast food fries. Fortunately, an appetizer order of grilled chorizo fared better: the bread was fresh and hot, and the dipping sauces (one a pesto, the other a roasted red pepper) were fantastic. Neither Europa’s service nor pricing were exceptional, nor were they exceptionally lacking. The sub-$15 steak dishes seem like a good deal until the disappointment of the fries sinks in; sandwich and salad pricing (in the $6 to $10 range) was fair. Our server was courteous enough and relatively fast, but he started to appear slightly harried as Europa filled up. If you keep your expectations in check and arrive early enough, Europa has enough charm and enough options to make for an enjoyable meal. However, the same can be found elsewhere without risking a headache.

This was probably one of the most satisfying trips of all of my journeys. I am a ballroom dance instructor so I actually get to travel a great deal, so its clear that I like to find wonderful places to enjoy myself at . At Europas I struck gold, to begin the staff was so friendly and so inviting and couldnt have been more attentive to the needs of their customers! !! Jacob who is the owner of the establishment was such a pleasure and to make us feel that much more comfortable sat with us as we enjoyed the marvelous meal they prepared for us, I wish him the best of luck but I know he will not need it because he has such a wonderful and inviting place, it almost feels like youre in your mothers kitchen !!!! Moving on to the palate busting flavors coming out of his dishes , the freshness of ingredients made you feel as if you had never tasted these ingredients put together in such a manner in your entire life!!!! Thank you for a seven and a half star dining experience, I will recommend this place to as many people as I crossed paths with, Thank You Jacob and the entire staff at your Europas in Greensboro North Carolina!!!!!

I am updating my review as i am still in love with the food, but the past 5 times i have been i have not been impressed with the service. We have been forgotten about, our waters left empty after we received our food only to have them ask for a refill when they bring our check, i have physically had to stare someone down to get them to take our order after being seated for an hour and half (on my birthday at that). We have been coming here for the good part of 2 years and I have to say, i used to love coming here but now i think i will just be ordering my food to-go as the service has went down hill! So unfortunate.

The food was decent, but the customer service was poor. It took forever to someone to take my order, and the waitress was not friendly; in fact, the only time(s) she came by my table was to bring a menu, food, and check. Not once did she check on me to see if I needed anything--nor did the top off my water. So in essence, she barely did the minimum. Needless to say, she didnt get a tip from that $8.01 meal I ordered. I will not eat there again.

THIS PLACE HAS THE MOST DELICIOUS FOOD EVER!!!! Took my girlfriend there over the weekend and was astonished by the food choices. The bread was simply amazing and is only like $1.50. The "PRICE" is definitely GREAT. For two entrees, it is about $25.00 which is far better than spending about $40 at another place for similar food. FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! GREAT PRICE!!! GOOD LOCATION!!! PERFECT PRICE $$$!!!! AND AMAZING FOOD!!!!

Had the pleasure of eating here last night with a friend and our 2 sons. We both had the Mussels special that included a glass of wine. It was excellent! Our waiter was patient and awesome! The prices were great and our boys enjoyed their pizza, burger and fries! I cant say enough good things! Hadnt been here in a long time and now this is my favorite place in Greensboro! Will be back soon!

If youre a traveler missing true European cuisine, this will give you a taste of home. Also the burgers are incredible. The outdoor seating is cozy and romantic with the lights and fountain. One of my favorite places to eat in Greensboro. Only minus one star because it can get crazy busy and hard to get someone to your table.

I tend to revisit this festy spot once every 3-6 months... and each time Im always glad I came back! I LOVE dining at Europa... the food and service has remained consistent amongst the changing faces! They may not know my name but they always make me feel welcomed! #CatalinaMussels #FrenchBaguette #REALButterPats #PinotNoir

If you are looking for a great Sunday brunch, stop by Café Europa on Davie St. You can see the outdoor patio on the right side of the road if youre coming from Friendly Ave. I have really enjoyed their Eggs Benedict & my husband loves just about everything hes tried there. Definitely not a place to be missed in Greensboro!

Usually if I have wonderful food Im not also singing praises about the price. However, tonight is an exception. Delicious plate of mussels plus glass of wine for $8.50? Plus fries or bread? Ridiculous! Was very good and outdoor seating was great. Found this place via google maps (new to town), glad I came.

Great meet-up dinner/watering hole spot in downtown GSO. Food is tasty, good beer/wine selection. went mid-week so atmosphere was chill but could see where it might get busy/noisy on weekends.

Have eaten here 3x this summer. Very enjoyable to sit out near the fountain. The food is very good, and not too pricey. Crab Dip is awesome. One of my favorite restaurants in Greensboro.

We went for brunch this morning, and the service and food were equally terrible. The food was cold once it finally got to the table. Expensive tab for food my friends and I barely touched!

The atmosphere had a simple European bistro pub feel. Id like to get there a third time before I give my review about the food. Device was lackluster my first two visits.
