I love this place. For anybody who has been in Reno forever, you remember the old Nu Yalk. The new building is nice and well lit but location is way out, (only downfall), but still worth the drive. The classic pepperoni is awesome. The only 2 places in town we get pizza anymore are Nu Yalk and Grimaldis at the Marina. We absolutely love New York style pizza and these are the 2 places to get it. For people visiting, you gotta try one or the other, (or both), at least once. I dont know why people talk about the customer service, Ive been coming here for years and never once had anyone rude. Theyre always friendly and quick.

Pizza by the slice and real New York style. It is a tad expensive, though, and could use a little more cheese, but probably the only place in town with Pancetta as a topping option. Drink options are interesting in that they have a wine by the glass vending system. Havent seen anybody use it, but interesting. For sodas they have RC which, technically, I thought was a Chicago pizza joint thing. There are a lot of TVs with sports on and a bunch of computers for going on the internet (kind of an internet cafe, I guess.)

Dont let the hype persuade you... I went here with many recommendations that it was such a wonderful place for a good traditional New York style pizza not only did I get a discussing tomato sauce pizza wayyy over seasoned with nonsense and hardly any cheese on it the customer service was horrible they refused to give me a store credit they refuse to fix it... nothing. I will never go back here again I will never recommend this place again this place sucks

Above average place to get a slice in this town, but as someone who has lived in New York though i was slightly disappointed, sauce was a bit bland and was quite surprised to not find garlic knots on the menu, a staple of any pizzeria back east, prices were a bit high $30 for a pie and garlic bread but its to be expected from a specialty place such as this

This is the closest to real New York thin crust pizza in Reno. Pizza by slice. Huge slices, but one topping only on the slices. Calzones made the right way. Lasagna, spaghetti, great meatballs, garlic bread made with fresh garlic. And my favorite topping pancetta! Mondays and Wednesdays the have Sicilian by the slice.

When you want to escape that same ol pizza joint rut that everyone gets in the habit of doing... Get off your couch and make the trip Nu Yalk Pizza. The pizza here gives your tastes buds something else to savor on. Oh, and dont forget to pick up a Original New York Seltzer. So many good flavors. :D

Having grown up in and near the city (NY city that is), I REALLY miss the food. Nu Yalk makes me homesick as theyre outstanding pizza is not only typical Italian thin-crusted pies, and they use mostly organic ingredients. Only 1 other pizza shop comes close (Smilin With Hope).

Outstanding!!! This pizza became my favorite the first time I had it... For those from the California Bay Area and familiar with the Pizza My Heart chain... Nu Yalk is the same if not better!!! They serve that authentic thin New York style pizza! Simply awesome!

I returned Reno after being transferred for work. I was very excited to eat at New Yalk Pizza again. The pizza was different than before, definitely not as good. I guess they thought a new building would cover for a smaller, inferior and different product. WRONG!

The peeps are friendly, the atmosphere is free and has a unique environment. The entertainment is variety, the pizza is awesome!! Pizza by the slice is huge! Always has me coming back for more! Worth my money every time! Great place!

One of my favorite places to go! Cheap and delicious slices. All that talk about bad customer service is just that they get straight to the point and dont take up time to have outstanding manners, which i personally perfer!

My husband and I will travel 2 hrs for this pizza when the craving hits. He is New Jersey born and raised and says it is the only decent pizza on the west coast. We buy a pie for there and take one home for later.

My wife and I stopped by Nu Yalk Pizza and have found a new favorite restaurant in town......Wonderful authentic "east coast" "big apple" pizza......and even better in the calzone department! Check them out!

Awesome pizza, just wish they served beer OTHER THAN "high end" type beers. A basic American draft like Bud or Miller would be nice. I like beer....just not the type they have here. Best pizza in town, though.

Being forced to eat gluten free, I was relieved to see that nu yalk has gluten free crust available. Really good pizza, New York fashioned of course, just dont come here looking for pineapple on the menu :/

A great Reno pizza place. Delicious pizza. Great crust with a New York taste. Loads of toppings--they do not skimp. Great place to watch sporting events. One of Renos best and has been for a long time.

The pizza here is just alright. It is very expensive for a whole pie so only go by the slice. The atmosphere is very cold with metal tables and weird computers set up behind plexiglass screens.

the only pizza place you need to know if youre from New York you will recognize the only real New York style pizza that brings you back to ny they do not advertise they dont deliver

Good pizza but only 3 stars for the service. Both times I have been here the cashiers have been less than friendly and in a hurry to get me out of the way. This is Reno, not NY.

Great New York style pizza. And you can get just a slice if that is what you need. The sandwiches are also good
