**This is the exact same review I posted on Yelp...Yelp has a funny way of your reviews being deleted or not showing up, so I always post there and here. Just FYI!** My husband and I visited here tonight with some family friends and absolutely loved this place. Great/huge selection of CO beers (I had a peach Saison...yummy!). We got the salmon artichoke dip appetizer and it was fantastic. Everyone seemed happy with their meal selection (did not hear one complaint). And the dessert...holy Toledo. Two of us got the homemade vanilla maple bacon ice cream -- yeah, that exists -- and it was to die for. We went here on a Monday night and had great service inside (thank you Martina!). We were a slightly difficult party, as I was meeting people for the first time and my husband hadnt seen these family friends in years, so we were chatty...Martina paid excellent attention to us and was extremely patient, as it probably took us 20 minutes to order beers and an hour to order food, lol. She also wasnt too overbearing at the same time, which I know can be a fine like to walk. She was fantastic and even took a picture of the 4 of us at the end for good measure. And just FYI this is a great place to go to watch a football game if youre into that sort of thing...TVs a plenty. Great little brewery in Wheat Ridge - we will definitely be back. :)

Truthfully, Im giving CP three stars only because I live in the neighborhood and honestly want to see it succeed. Their beer selection is unparalleled, save maybe Falling Rock downtown. For this I have to give them credit, however, their wait staff have NO skills. Been there three times: First time was opening week, I’ll give them that, after we ordered and never got our food, the sever comes back with “the kitchen isn’t even talking to me, I’m not sure your going to get your food.” We canceled the order. Second time, we had to ask for a water three times and never received it. Third time, ordered Fish n Chips, which they charge $1 extra for the chips! It’s Fish AND CHIPS. Huh? We ask for malt vinegar, waitress says, “I’ll try and dig some up.” Dig some up? Malt vinegar for fish and chips is not an odd request. She never brings it, we remind her and she instantly brings it. Obviously, she didnt have to dig anywhere. We finish our food and she comes back and says she’ll bring the check – we didnt ask for it and maybe we werent done? Would you like anything else? She never clears the plates, comes back ten minutes later with check and still doesnt clear the plates. SERVICE SUCKS. Beer is good. Food a bit steep for Wheat Ridge, CO, local or otherwise.

I am perplexed by the low balling of this joint by past patrons. When I first came upon this pub, February 2014, I was impressed by the wood work and smell of wood within the joint. Superb aesthetics all around! The managing partner, wasnt pleasant at first when first meeting him... But, it was probably due to the Broncos collapsing in that epic Super Bowl loss...haha. He turned out to be a really nice person and funny. Anyway, the beer is fn awesome! Most beers are above 6%ABV and delicious! All beers were born within Colorado. The pub brews its own specialty beers, but unfortunately, not all in season! Thats my only disappointment. The food is great! I really dont understand the complaints...but, since moving in March 2014, maybe the quality went down, but I just cant say enough positive about here. At times the service is slow, but that is due to the amount of crowds that will come into the place. But, we were in no hurry to go anywhere. If youre looking to go cheap or hanging out at your regular hole in the wall joint that offers recooked McD hamburgers and want to be in and out, then this place is not for you! One of the few things I miss about Colorado I wish I could have taken with me on my move.

Stopped in after getting off a return flight from Michigan to see what was inhabiting the ole Valentes restaurant I frequented. Well, let me tell you if one visit can be used to evaluate an establishments offerings then this was sets the standard in my book. Only Colorado microbrews, excellent use of buffalo cuts and homemade just about everything else. The house cuts of home smoked bacon is tatse bud delight. The wait staff are attentive, engaging and considerate. Will return often as well as take family that is visiting from Michigan as well as Costa Rica. My friend and I had a hunger on and were sated. The prices were fair considering the talents of the chef and the resulting delicious food. Uuuumwaah

Im not much of a beer drinker (at all actually), but this is one of my favorite places to eat in NW Denver! The menu looks like a small collection of normal pub-type fare... but they do everything they do very, very well; the most flavorful turkey burger Ive ever tasted. Additionally, wonderfully crispy yet tender fish, served with house chips or fries. If you just go in for a brew, get a side of fries-- they are the best Ive found in Denver so far (though it is technically located in Wheat Ridge, its worth the drive). Of course, the main draw is an all-CO brewed tap line including a few handfuls of their own house brews; but dont forget about their CO distilled liquors as well!

Totally disappointed by this neighborhood establishment. First I will discuss their food and service is 1 star, no if and or buts. It sucks. The beer selection is impressive if you dont mind the prices. Ambiance is lacking, spartanly decorated and uninspired. I am very disappointed in the owners though. They posted a huge tax rate yard sign in front of their building to raise local taxes on property owners. I think the motives are good, but this owners got public tax incentives to open this place. If they are so gung-ho on raising their neighbors taxes, DONT BE TAKING TAX REBATES AND GRANTS FOR YOUR BUSINESS!

First time and my girlfriend was glowing and excited for me to try. Service was good but they were out of brisket special was sold out before 6:45. Ordered grilled artichokes and the entire heart was cut out! To me unacceptable. How do you cut out the entire heart, the best part, and send out just the husks of a fresh vegetable? I got the adult macaroni and cheese and it was lackluster. Super grainey cheese, which she didnt like either and the flavor was mostly only from sriracha. Fail. Her meatloaf was good but I would never eat either of mine again.....kraft mac and cheese is better and thats hard to write.

When I first saw the size of the menu, I was excited but it turned out to be just another one dimensional brewpub. Not one of their house beers is under 8 ABV, over 1/3rd of the menu is served in those 10oz ripoff glasses. The ONLY saving grace is the decent spread of CO centric beers but out of an entire sheet, only two sessionable beers worth a try, more like 3.5 stars. I had good service from Jessica but Pete is a jackass. I watched him toss a guys beer after that guy TOLD him hed be back from the restroom(?!). "Oh, I didnt hear you", you blow (only 4 people at the bar)!
