I have been here a few times now with my 10month old, and my husband once, every experience has been really pleasant. The facility is great! The bathrooms are clean and organized, which I love. The play area is kept clean, all three areas. The only area I would say isnt the cleanest is the Crawlers area. I know it hard to keep those mats spotless, but I wouldnt necessarily say they are dirty I am sure they are cleaned regularly but they look a little dirty and it doesnt help that parents can wear their shoes. That is probably the only thing I would change about this place. All the babies have to wear socks but the parents can wear shoes which doesnt make sense. I think thats why the area looks dirty on the mats. The crawler area is the reason why I gave four stars, I know the staff will kick the big kids out if you ask them but I would like to see no shoes and more strict action to getting big kids out of there. The other thing I dont like, and doesnt have to do with Playgrounds staff, is parents let their kids go crazy!!!! The first time I was there a group of four kids began to pick on two brothers in the crawler section. The parents could perfectly see them, two of the kids watched as the other two began to kick a little boy on the floor!!! I stepped in and told them to stop, mind you these kids were all over 8, and the little girl began to tell me that to tell me why it was okay. It blew my mind. Again thats the parents doing and they need to keep eye out for their kids. We have been looking for a place to do our sons birthday and I have cold and gone on a few times to ask questions. I spoke will Lisa and the owner and different occasions and their customer service is GREAT! They were patient. nice, and gave me all the information I asked for. They are very easy to work with and really do want to give you what you want, I had a few strange requests and none of them were shut down. So far there has only been one employee who hasnt been as welcoming as the rest. She still asks her so questions right away if she doesnt know the answer but she isnt exactly friendly. She booked my party and I was surprise she didnt send or give me any sort of conformation number, email, or receipt. My party is booked on the schedule on;in and thats pretty much all I care about but I still thought that was strange. That being said the owner and Lisa and all of the other employees are great and I am excited to see how are party goes!!!!

Both me and the kids LOVED this place! I took my 5-year old nephew, 3-year old niece and 2-year old niece and a wonderful time was had by all. The toddler section was perfect for the 2-year old, and the 3 and 5 year old loved exploring the climbing area for older kids. They enjoyed the little cars (shown in pics) the most, because all three could play gas station together. You never know what is going to get there attention on any given day, huh? The seating area directly across from the play area allowed the kids to continue to play while waiting for the food to arrive - a definite bonus for me! We took advantage of the kid combo (kid-admission with meal included - $10, for first kid, $8 for each sibling). Adults are admitted for free. Normal admission without the kid meal included is $8 per kid and $6 for any siblings and typical kid meal is $3.99, so I saved $6 by planning on eating there at the time of admission. The older kids were intrigued by the Fluffernutter sandwich (peanut butter and marshmallow cream) on whole wheat (white bread was available, too) and fruit. The youngest went with the Cheddar Cheese Panini and carrots. The meals also came with a cookie and the choice of milk, chocolate milk or apple juice, so I chose milk for all of them. I had the Tuna Bacon Panini with fruit ($6.99) and a coffee. My sister, who joined us for an early lunch, had a White Chocolate Mocha and a Cinnamon Roll. The fruit was very fresh, the sandwiches were yummy, and my sister enjoyed both of her sweets. You could tell we all enjoyed our food because no one had any room left for the cookies - so they were saved for later. (BTW - “Later” came after about an hour more of playtime). The 3-year old is a very light and particular eater and the fact that she actually ate the majority of her meal was impressive. I may need to start adding marshmallow to all of her sandwiches. We were at Playgrounds for about 2.5 hours in total and the kids could have stayed longer, they were enjoying the experience so much. Everything was extremely clean (it’s all brand-spanking new since it just opened) and the staff were kind and attentive. James, the owner, even stopped by to charm the kids and see if they were enjoying themselves. We all left in a good mood and agreed we would have to come back soon. I highly recommend Playgrounds. Affordable fun and great food!

Weve been to Playgrounds multiple times and always had a great experience. This review is based on our most recent visit. Im not sure if its under different management, but there was a definite change of pace. The staff seemed frazzled and in a sour mood. Im not sure if it was because a child urinated in one of the structures or dealing with different parents, but those kind of things should be a given when you run a playground facility for young children. The first problem we encountered was when we did not receive part of the food order. When I asked, the older man seemed annoyed. I wasnt sure if he was annoyed at me, didnt believe me, or if he was annoyed at the lady who took our order. When he came back out, he brought the wrong items and seemed further annoyed. A few minutes later, I witnessed the same older gentleman scolding my 3 year old. I wondered if it was because she was laying down in a passageway, but I hurried over. My daughter is nonverbal and autistic so I doubt she knew or cared what he was saying. It turns out he was upset she was not wearing socks. I get that those are the rules and it is gross to be barefoot....trust me I understand! However, again she has autism and removed her socks about 5 times already, several times up in the structure and I had to have my other daughters retrieve them. There is a new indoor playground in Surprise that "gets" special needs and is understanding of sensory issues and does not push socks. Since I knew I could not keep them on and the old man seems like he would not let it go, we chose to leave. I told my older daughters to grab their muffins and we proceeded to the exit, but not without another employee scolding us for having food in a prohibited area. Seriously? Were walking out! Are we not allowed to take the muffins we paid for with us...the ones they forgot to give to us and were upset because we asked for them? I told the lady "were trying to walk out....cant we take them with us?" She said "oh I didnt realize." Because the fact that we had shoes on and I was wearing my purse and walking towards the exit wasnt obvious apparently. Needless to say, we will be more apt to visit other places in the future. Im very disappointed in the customer service!
