A great family owned restaurant. The food is always wonderful and hot. Good home style food with great prices. My favorites are the hand cut french fries, breaded tenderloin sandwich and old fashion cream pie. All the employees are very nice and go out of their way to make you feel at home. This is my favorite place to eat in Darke County.

Stopped here at a half-way point of a 30+ mile bike tour. This is everything you would expect from a small-town diner. Service and food were both excellent, I really liked the macaroni salad. As a bonus there is a cool retired helicopter at the VFW just around the corner that was cool to check out.

Small town charm, wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. If you are going through Arcanum, stop by! Cheap prices, excellent portions (and the best chicken and dumplings on the planet!!!)
