Pisillo is just GREAT, and it deserves a review in the mothertongue =) Mi sono trovato a passare casualmente, ed ho trovato questottima paninoteca I panini sn belli grandi e leggeri. Semoline e sfilatini cotti a legna. Salumi italiani, e mozzarella di bufala che arriva via aereo ogni settimana. Tutti gli ingredienti sono ottimi, io uso come prova del nove gli spunzilli sundried tomatoes: quando un posto e scarso, questi sn un po acidi e pieni di olio, invece quelli di Carmelo sono dolci e saporiti al punto giusto. Robba bona! -Vero FYI: Back home in Italy, Panini = Sandwiches. Simple as that. Please, DO NOT expect a grill-pressed meal. The American-English version of the same term will meaninglessly mislead you. :-) A panino is a cornerstone of every Italians diet - simple, nutritious, and delicious, a panino combines the millennial expertise and flavor of Italians approach to eating.

English 中文 日本語 This is literally my favorite sandwich place in the world. Word cannot describe how good they are. I only had Milano and Pisillo before, because this combination is amazing. I highly recommend ordering this two together. They get even better as leftover. I would love to go back to New York just for eating here. Das wahrscheinlich beste Sandwich in NY! Kleiner unscheinbarer Laden mit sehr freundlicher, typisch italienischer Bedienung und dem entsprechenden Ambiente. Es stehen verschiedene Brot Sorten zur Auswahl, ebenso wie rund 20 verschiedene Belagvarianten. Alles frisch und nur beste italienische Zutaten!! Ich habe für meine Sandwich 9.90$ zzgl Tax gezahlt, habe aber nur die Hälfte auf Anhieb geschafft - es ist wirklich riesig! Sehr dick belegt, bestimmt knapp 150/200 g bester Prosciutto de Parma und dick ital Käse, allein für die Zutaten zahlt man in manchen Geschäften mehr. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Il migliore panino che ho mai mangiato in vita mia.Tutto fresco,tutto importato dallItalia,prodotti di prima qualità.Ho preso il panino Napoli,con Prosciutto di Parma,Mozzarella di Bufala Campana,rucola e olio extra vergine di oliva,in pane focaccia...amici miei era semplicemente Sublime,non ho mangiato un panino così manco in Italia.Bravo Pisillo,hanno proprio ragione tutta la persone che ti fanno la recensioni e ti portano come il migliore panino italiano di New York,le persone come te,esportano il vero Made in Italy nel mondo...Sei il numero UNO...

Excellent restaurant with great food and great service as well. I heard of this restaurant from a friend so I decided to give it a try and I was glad to visit it. The food not only is good but it also a cheap. I ordered a panini sandwich and it was excellent. I liked the coffee as well its fresh and with a great taste also. The restaurant has a nice and classical looking appearance. I liked that there is a lot of variety, like 35 different varieties of paninis sandwiches. On the downside the restaurant is small and can get crowded from time to time, there only a few tables on the inside and can get uncomfortable. Overall and in conclusion I can say that this is a great restaurant, the food Is excellent and customer service is also one of the most outstanding points, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good and cheap meal.

Because this place is so close to my office, I come and pick up a panini at least once a week. The good: Its 14" (36cm) so it can easily feed 2 people justifying its price tag ($11-14 with tax). My favorites are Trento, Genova, and Porchetta. The bad: many of the sandwiches that include hot peppers or balsamic vinegar contain too much of the stuff. It will overwhelm the taste of the high-quality imported ham and cheese. The chef should strike a balance between the strong flavors of some of the ingredients and the subtleties of the Italian ham and cheese. So they score points on size and high quality of ingredients but low on lack of balance of ingredients in some of their sandwiches. If you are disappointed by a sandwich the first time, it is worth trying a different one a second.

This was my second time here. First time, I made the mistake of ordering one sandwich for myself and another for my friend. I did not realize how big it was. This time around, my friend and I shared the Pisillo sandwich, a sandwich named after the place, it just screams "eat me!" It was delicious with all the meets, roasted peppers, bufa mozz, arugula, and balsamic dressing. I would definitely come here again to try another. Their prices may seem expensive, but if you see the size of the sandwich, its like two meals, so its worth it! Also, they dont do hot sandwiches, so the bread may be cold, but it still tastes as good. Its a cute small place with a few tables, but definitely worth a try if youre in the neighborhood.

As a card-carrying Italian-American that grew up with prosciutto sandwiches in the house, Im usually the first person to roll my eyes at an Italian sandwich shop (Alidoro is the worst offender), but this place makes sandwiches with no airs about them, no pretension, no hipstery aesthetic. Its a counter spot that makes wonderfully fresh and gigantic sandwiches. The Trieste sandwich is a thing of beauty. The prosciutto is fresh, the mozzarella is moist and not chewy, the semolina bread is so goddamn flavorful and fresh. The whole thing is beautiful. The disco music they have on in the place is hilariously terrible. Probably the best lunch you can find downtown. Mangia!

If you are looking for a place where you can taste some amazing food and feel like you are at your own house no matter where you are from....you are in the right place!! Amazing place, amazing staff, and (of course) amazing hommade food woth natural product brought you straight outta Italy. What else do you need to know? Its kind of hard to describe a place lile this if you never been here before. So the best way to find out is to come check it out yourself. Trust me you are going to regret it if you dont come!! ordered 2 paninis(and had the leftovers for dinner!) A roasted chicken on ciabatta bread & tuna on 7 grain bread. They were HUGE! This is a mom & pop shop, cash only (atm available inside), only a few bistro tables inside, but there was a sign saying there was seating in the cafe next door. Luckily it was the day of the snowstorm, and we were able to get the last table. The ingredients were fresh, great quality meat & cheese. The 7 grain bread was perfect, but the ciabatta bun was a little tough. GO if youre near the 9/11 area. You will not be disappointed!!

Les sandwiches sont dune taille monstrueuse et on ne peut pas commander de demi-sandwich donc venez à plusieurs. Chaque sandwich peut nourrir au moins deux personnes. Les produits utilisés sont frais et bons. Cest simple mais succulent et avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Panini ITALIANI dove? Classico posto pseudo-italiano dove puoi fregare tutti tranne gli italiani. Si, la forma è quella di un bel panino italiano, ma dentro cè di tutto e di più ma senza una logica. Ho visto robe tipo mortadella mozzarella e rucola.

A great authentic Italian spot serving over 30 different kinds of cold paninis with your choice of 4 kinds of bread. All made with fresh ingredients shipped from Italy. The place is small with only 4 tables and you can tell the owners are proud Italians and Juventus fans just by looking around. Theres no way you can finish a panini by yourself so bring a friend or be prepared to take the other half with you. Try not to come close to closing time, as I did, as you might not find the bread that you want. 1 delicious panani down, 30+ to go!
