Things were bad from the minute we walked in and they never got better. We had a reservation for 3 people at 9pm. We arrived on time and were told to wait outside (the place is small and the bar was full) until our table was ready. We waited for over 45 minutes. It was cold. People that came after us were seated before us. We watched three tables sit for over an hour after they had paid their bills and not be asked to move to the bar as they chatted endlessly and we waited. The food did not make it better. Ricotta was bland and tasteless. Avocado tartine was unsalted guacamole on burnt toast. Steak tartare also flavorless and served with more burnt bread (and I love steak tartare - very hard to make it bad, but they managed). My Black Truffle Steak Haché, which I ordered rare, came well done. Waited more than 15 minutes to get the waiter to acknowledge us and return the steak. It came out a second time equally well done. I gave up, but it didnt matter because the waiter never came back to ask if it was okay. The complimentary bread that was brought to the table was rock hard and inedible. The butter, however, was quite good, but spending over $100 on a spoonful of good butter does not make this place worth a visit.

Visitors from Canada yesterday 07/11/17 - My girlfriend had the Montauk Fluke with Cranberry and I had the Steak Haché with Truffles. To say the least the food was sensational. I have never had so incredible dining. The experience and ambiance was unbelievable, the staff were friendly and made our time there pleasant and special. Our server suggested the Nutella Creme Brulee... my jaw dropped at how delicious it was from the first to the last bite! The only reason that this review did not get the 5 star is one down side... the cock tails. The Betty White and the French Intervention sound great and the ingredients would suggest that they would taste just as much however they tasted awful. Betty White didnt sit well and it could have been the fresh Thyme but some how the French Intervention was the worst of them all. Spicy and just not the right combo of ingredients to pair. But please view this review as a positive note, we LOVED everything except for the cock tails they simply could not have been our taste so it is simply subjective!! 9.5/10

Adorable little cafe in Soho that should be a stand out but fails because of horrible service. Food is pretty good. We were there on Friday afternoon over 4th of July weekend. Maybe 8 tables were occupied and there were 3 waiters mulling around. Once you are seated you will wait - what for menus, wait for table settings and wait for order to be taken. Once the drinks/food arrive you will never be approached by a waiter again. If you need or want something they will just look right through you if you wave them down. These guys are talking to each other, trying on a "green baseball cap" or congregating by the menu stand ignoring customers. They are positively oblivious. Very unpleasant experience and we would not recommend this cafe to anyone who expects just basic service in a restaurant.

eaten here twice for brunch. Seating at a table has eluded me both times as Little Prince is quite popular and understandably so. With that said service at the bar is excellent and the staff are more than willing to chat you up. The food is delicious to say the least and on my first visit had the acclaimed French Onion Soup Burger, which lived up to its reputation. For more on the burger, check out the press section of their site(they have reviews many times better than anything i can do). On my second visit, I had to try an old brunch standby "Steak and Eggs" and once again Little Prince did not disappoint.

On a Monday evening the noise level was tolerable in here, but Ive walked past many times and the din was audible from new Jersey. French food served with enough salt to preserve a corpse, at least it isnt served wrapped in bandages. My steak frites was a nice tender cut of meat, well prepared, and properly cooked, the frites were very crispy, the kale salad roasted in garlic, all very nice except for the amount of salt, which dried up the fifth star in my rating. Cocktails were good and not outrageous, indeed for Soho the prices for everything seemed reasonable.

Food was delicious but the service was not so good. 2 minutes after sitting down the bartender came over to us and asked if we had reservations then left. My husband and I were so confused. Our waiter only came to our table once. Mid way through our meal we ran out of drinks and not once got a refill. My husband and I left thinking it was cause we didnt have reservations that we were treated that way... which I didnt think you needed one. Anywho, I dont recommend this place unless you enjoy being around a bunch of hipster doofus.

Gezellig klein restaurant verscholen in de wijk. Eten iets overprijst en werden iets te snel geholpen. Wijnen te prijzig. Leuke details in de inrichting. Vriendelijke bediening. Eten goed. Toch een aanrader deze Amerikaanse "Le Petit Prince"

Though some might consider the addition of another French restaurant to west Soho a little over the top, Little Prince brings welcome flair and an exciting vibe to the area. The menu is straightforward and packed with flavorful, robust dishes that contrast wonderfully against the Moroccan decor. Opening week visits are usually plagued with slow service, but we were seated and served quickly, with friendly help exploring the menu. Hats off to Paul Denamiel and his team.

At first we waited for quite a while for a table, but as soon as we got our food we knew why. Best food we have ever had in New York. Started with the tuna tartar which was delectable. The bistro chicken was the BEST chicken Ive ever had in my entire life. And thats saying a lot...I love my chickens. I would definitely recommend this place to those thinking of having a stomachs filled with delicious food.

What an adorable little restaurant! Very tight space, but the food and drinks are worth it. I would give 5 stars, but the service wasnt as good as it couldve been. Our waitress and bartender were very distracted and seemed a bit overwhelmed with the after dinner rush. I recommend trying it out in the early afternoon when everyone else is at work.

I stopped in here with a group of ~10 on a burger crawl around brunch time. The french onion soup is a solid burger and beyond flavorful, served on a crispy English muffin. Love grill marks? This is your place. It is a bit small so isnt always good for groups, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

One of my favorite restaurants on Manhattan. It small, cozy and in a good location. Dinner: All the food in great, but try the Avocado Tartine, Duck and Bistro Chicken...yum! They also have a good variety of cocktails, wine and beer. Service is friendly and quick, but it all comes at a price.

Just walked past last night, and with a hankering for French, we popped in. So glad that we did. Everything was great, from our service at the bar, to the wine, to the tasty bites, Steak Frites, dessert . . . (I loved the space as Shortys .32, so Im happy the subsequent use is also a gem.)
