In my opinion this is the best cheap Chinese in Midtown. Delivery was fairly quick and the portions were large. I usually eat my food over two days but it was so good I finished the whole thing as did my boss. I had General Tsos and my boss had beef and broccoli, both of us really enjoyed it and at less than $6 its a steal. Most the cheap Chinese in midtown is pretty terrible so we were fairly impressed. The fried rice also was decently flavorful. This is my new go to place without a doubt, hopefully the next time is as good as the first.

I was enjoying my lunch in a nice park when suddenly I find a LONG HAIR right in the middle of my egg fried rice with broccoli. I called them to inform them... When I explained what happened to the female worker who answered the phone, her response was "I dont know how thats possible, everyone here is bald." Like really?! As if it wasnt bad enough that I found a hair in my food, now you tell me you dont know where its from. I ended up getting my money back but I had to go there in person because they were "too busy to send someone."

This was pretty solid Chinese food at an really low price. My girlfriend and I got more than enough food for the both of us for less than $20. How can you beat that in New York? Plus, the quality is no better or worse than youll find in any other greasy Chinese take-out place. Hong Kong is my restaurant of choice for cheap, simple Chinese.

As a native New Yorker, and a former resident of the Gansu Providence, Hong Kong is my go to place when I have a penchant for beef on a stick. Though I tend to agree with other reviews that this place is often non-caring. Like, they hear you talking, but arent really listening to what youre saying.

Very affordable lunch ppecial and quick service during peak lunch hours Cons: you have to ask for condiments and forks to be placed in the bag as mine came with just the food and nothing else so that was the only annoying thing

Is a good place to go for the special. The quality is a hit or miss. Servers can be a bit rude. If looking for a quick bite to eat then its OK to stop by, if looking for really good Chinese food or sushi, go elsewhere.

Very casual and cheap local Chinese food place. Also serves sushi though I didnt try it. Got eggplant in hot garlic sauce with brown rice which was tasty and not very hot or spicy. The service was quick.
