Tessaras is absolutely hands down by far my most favorite restaurant in the area. They have an open kitchen so u see the food being cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is quaint with soft instrumental music in the background. I have to say the place is virtually spotless which is important to me. The servers are experienced and know the food. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask, they answer as If theyve tried everything them selves. The food is cooked to perfection. The filet mignon I had, ordered medium, butterflyed, melted in my mouth along with my grilled zucchini and REAL HOMEMADE mashed potatoes were phenomenal. My husband went for the veal Alicia which was sauteed veal with lump crabmeat over a bed of pasta with vodka sauce to top it off. Outstanding!!! Oh my god do they have variety. Something for everyone. The bar is always open with an excellent wine list along with dozens of drink specials. You wont leave without viewing the desset tray. We decided on tiramisu as the peice was big enough for both me and my husband. This place is good for any day of the week. They have a banquet room which is good for any occasion. If u live in Hamilton or if your on a trip just passing thru dont pass up a fine dining meal at reasonable price. You wont leave hungry or broke. Thats a promise !!!

Warning to any of those thinking of having a lunch/dinner banquet here...something you may not notice in the fine print. When you give them a head count a couple days before, THATS how they base your bill. It doesnt matter how many people show up or how many people order. So if a family of 5 people ends up NOT coming because one of their kids gets sick, you will still be charged full price for the ENTIRE family. I got charged for two adult dinners ($18.99) and 3 kids ($8.99) for meals I never got. Plus gratuity and taxes thats almost $80 extra dollars!!! Maybe this isnt much to some people, but my husband is the only one in our family currently with a job and we are struggling to get by. We wanted to have a nice, small party for our daughters baptism. That $80 dollars could have fed my family for a week, at least. But the owner said "They had to set the table for those people, so they need the money". Last time I checked it takes 3 seconds to put a plate and some silverware on a table. What a rip off. Never again will I ever support this restaurant, and I will make sure to tell as many people as possible. I will be honest, the service and food is good, but not worth it at all. You can get good food and good service at many restaurants that dont rip you off.

We come here all the time. I just had my birthday dinner and everything was outstanding! I always love their soups, I think we are e loaves of bread with that delicious garlic oil. For apps we got the shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped scallops. Sooooooo good! I always get the Tessera sweet Ritz cracker chicken (which I ❤), but for my birthday I went with the queen prime rib. Excellent choice. Cooked perfectly! For dessert the chocolate mousse cake was so surprisingly light and so easy to eat. My favorite restaurant by far, and Im a bit of a foodie! Im just not crazy for their pasta dishes. But the seafood here is on point as well!

Even a small diner is better than this horrible experience . Party of four order was fried calamari shatobrian for two and seafood mixed plate. Served with fruits !! What the heck. Slays of unpeeled orange green apple and cantaloupe on the same plate of grilled filemignon and bullion melted in cold water. No salt pepper or anything to taste . On seafood "just paprika " with boiled green beans. Oh god what did I do to experience such a food as a chef. I had to write this on food blogs . Sorry to share this not my style to share bad things but I had to.

After living in Hamilton for over ten years and trying many restaurants in the area it doesnt pay to keep looking for one better than Tessaras. The service from staff is professional and great. The food is very good, alot of dishes are same you might find at a hundred dollar a plate with dress code type restaurant but at half the cost with twice the food. Everytime we go there we end up bringing an extra meal home. Very good!

Great steaks and chicken dishes. Menu is extensive and has some traditional meals/entrees, however steaks and chops are highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and service is also very good. I have been coming to this place for years and not much has changed, which is a good thing. Sauces and sautés, particular most of chicken entrees are different and full of flavor.

1 month ago i was at this restaurant and i just looked down because i thought i seen something crawling i was right it was a big ugly cockroach when i saw it a put a napkin on this roach.then i called the server over i told him there is cockroach under this napkin and he got mad at me and he told me to leave i will never go to that restaurant again

My family has been coming to this restaurant for years, we come about once a week! Theres nothing I can complain about. The staff is very professional and friendly, the food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable! We have had multiple parties in their back room as well and honestly cant complain about anything!

My family used the private room for a bridal shower and had a wonderful experience. The guests commented on the success of the event, and for the most part it was due to the quality of the service and the food. There is plenty of parking and its located on a local highway. I would recommend the restaurant for parties or special events.

My family and I went here for Thanksgiving. I was not told about any specials for Thanksgiving, so I ordered Penne Vodka w/ Shrimp and salad as an appetizer. I asked for Italian Dressing, and I was given way too much ranch dressing. When it came to the entree, the shrimp was disgusting. On the good side, the wait wasnt bad.

I ordered a Caesar salad with blacken salmon to go. I picked up my order within 15 minutes, and I live literally less than a minute drive from the restaurant. The lettuce was welted, Drenched in dressing, no Parmesan cheese and salmon was not blackened. It wasnt even seasoned. Worst salad Ive ever had.

- Huge portions, excellent foot and the waitress service is great. What an excellent overall value, it’s a pleasure to write a review for Tessara. We use our VIP card every time we go! After working in the office all day at The Sylvan Learning Center of Hamilton, it’s a great way to relax.

Here is a restaurant that rivals any good restaurant in New York City. I should know I lived in NYC. The food is well prepared and served. The service is tops and the price is right. Do yourself a favor and try this little gem in Hamilton. I hope it never changes, but only for the best.

I had my daughters bridal shower on March 23rd. I choose Tessara because Ive always enjoyed their food and service; very friendly and efficient. As always, they did not let me down. Everybody loved it!! Thank you Tessara for making my daughters special day even more speial!
