The food here is extremely overpriced and poor quality. The interior is grungy - it looks like an old UPS or FedEx store that the owners tried to convert into a restaurant. Not sure when this place was last inspected. You are better off going to any of the numerous Caribbean restaurants on Liberty Road. Even the dishes at Golden Krust are much better than this (except they dont carry roti). The owners are nice but their food is terrible and had no flavor - I think it is basically made a couple of days previously (or frozen in batches) and then reheated when you order. Also, the way they calculate your total is different (significantly higher) than what they have on the menu board. I am not sure how they stay in business, we were the only customers they had over the course of a half hour period the evening we were there.

This is a carry-out place. Dont come here expecting to seat a family of four. Some of the prices have gone up since the picture of their menu was posted too. I have been here twice and they have definitely been friendly both times. I ordered doubles both times, and the first time it was stale and hard on the edges, and second time was very good. Theyre extremely garlicy, not quite what Ive gotten in Trinidad but similar. Ive also ordered the curried goat before and requested it mild but it was still too hotly spiced for me.

These other people have never eaten real trini food. Food is the worst trini food I ever ate. Doubles is so stale it feels like rock. I felt sick after eating it. Also, the roti is very stale too. The people are nice though, they just cant cook good trini food.

Wonderful little Trini restaurant. Owner greets you personally and makes food to order. Definitely a dive, but friendly and good food.
